MOON AND ITS INFLUENCE IT HAS BEEN ASKED THE FOLLOWING: “On page 265 of of the book Rosicrucian Cosmo Conception, we are taught- Moon delivers death dealing forces and it crystallizes the body. It also teaches Moon is thrown out of Earth due to its crystallizing effects and failures, not stragglers.

If Moon has such malefic qualities like death dealing forces and power of crystallization to death,then 1) Why is Moon considered as benefic even having malefic qualities as mentioned above?

2) Why is place of movement of Moon taken as HEALING DATES ,when it has just opposite quality of healing?

3) Can we use death dealing and crystallizing forces as HEALING FORCES?”

We have answered as follows: From the narrow human perspective, we know that death is seen as a bad happening, however the change of the form (dense matter) is utterly necessary for evolution and progress. Our Father is the engine of the dissolution of matter and this shouldn't be perceived itself as “bad”. From that view point, the Moon is the land of the angels and Jehovah, the Creator of life and the form but also it is the land of disintegration and due to it, the Lunar forces allow men to grow slow and properly.

Furthermore, to understand the influence of the Moon and those “Moon death-dealing forces”, influence on life upon the Earth and specifically in mankind, we must know about the evolutionary process of the Sun and the planets derived from it. God is a Trine in one mirific Entity and when He exercises the attribute of creation, His power appears to us as Jehovah, the Holy Spirit. Then He is the Lord of the law and of generates Solar fertility indirectly through lunar satellites of all the planets and of course through our Moon, which is necessary in order to facilitate the spiritual evolving bodies.

Now, for the purpose of sustaining the bodies generated by Jehovah under the laws of nature, let us also remember that when God exercises the attribute of preservation, He shows up as the Redeemer Christ, and He radiates the principles of Love and generation directly on any Planet where Jehovah's creatures require this help to unravel the mesh of mortality and selfishness, in order to achieve altruism and an endless life.

When God exercises the divine attitude of dissolution He appears to us as the Father who calls us to our heavenly home to assimilate the fruits of the experience and the soul development stored by us on this Forth Day of Manifestation.

Then the Universal Solvent, the Ray of the Father emanates from the Spiritual invisible Sun.

We can read from the book " Rosicrucian Themes", unfortunately not available in the English lenguage yet that we can see everywhere around us these divine processes of creation and birth, of life preservation and dissolution, of death and the return to the Supreme Author of our beings and we can recognize the fact that these are all activities of the Triune God in manifestation. But, have we ever realized that in the spiritual world there are no events defined or static conditions but the beginning and the end of all the adventures and of all ages are present in an eternal now? From the bosom of the Father there is an infinite irradiation of the seed of things and events that penetrate the plane of "time" and "space". Then they gradually crystallize and become inert requiring the dissolution so a space can appear for other happenings, things and events. That's what we believe from the Rosicrucian standpoint.

As far as the questions above, we can also say that the vital force is associated with the Sun, and deadly forces are associated with the Moon. Max Heindel speaks of "the lunar forces that have to do with death" and also of "crystallizing lunar forces." I understand that the vital process is a balance between the builder solar forces and the destructive lunar forces. I also know that some ancient schools of occult science teach that these currents are known as the breath of Brahma that "flows up" and "flows down".

The growth cycles are arranged in the vital body in septenary periods derived from crystallizing lunar forces. Seven years is the time for maturing the etheric envelope, being the Vital Body born of the cover at the age of seven years, then three diverse ethers mature separately in seven-year cycles,i.e. the Life Ether at around fourteen with the Body of Desire, the Light Ether at twenty-one with the birth of the Mind, the Reflecting Ether at twenty eight when man is then fully developed. Max Heindel also mentions an old tradition of "Moon-beings", whose duration of life from infancy to old age,

is only of seven years and such cases are actually known in medical science.

While talking to another Brother of TRF, the subject is feeded by reaching into the following conclusions derived from TRF teachings about the specific initial three questions : 1.

The strength of the quote about "death dealing forces" is intentionally strong for poetic license. In the Cosmo Conception Book, Max Heindel points out that the balance of the vitalizing influences of the Sun and the crystallizing forces of the Moon are in exactly the right proportions for our humanity and its needs at this present time.

We all need dense physical bodies but at the same time those bodies must die. As mention above the death itself is not all bad but necessary, because we can return with new and improved bodies.

2) Astrologically, the Moon has several astrological functions, including being the (to quote Max Heindel) the minute hand on the clock of destiny. You might say that one of its crystallizing functions is the crystallizing of the times and the seasons of things.

3) In infrequent cases where people are not grounded the crystallizing forces can ground people who are too removed from optimal physical experience. Also, please remember that the Moon also finalizes other benign forces in which cases the benign forces are much more than the minimal crystallizing forces of the Moon. Like all things in this world, there is no single cause to an event. There are many causes and many lessons to most events and that requires comprehensive understanding on our part to get a clear picture of things.
