The Bishops are back on campus to start the new year, and the coaching staff is excited to bring you a new edition of our newsletter, Bishops Monthly! In this month’s issue we’ll recap the fall semester in the classroom, detail our 2025 schedule, our Littick Field turf project, and announce a new addition to the coaching staff! We’ll also highlight our upcoming annual prospect camp and introduce our new sponsors for 2025. Thank you for supporting OWU baseball. FALL SEMESTER BY THE NUMBERS
We are extremely proud of the fall semester our guys put together in the classroom, improving our team’s cumulative GPA from 3.05 to 3.28! Twenty-five players achieved a 3.0 GPA or above, with seventeen earning over a 3.50. A huge shoutout to the guys below who had perfect 4.00 GPAs! Congratulations to all of our guys for their hard work in the classroom and at study tables; we’re looking forward to another successful semester this spring!

STAFF UPDATE JEREMY CARPER
Assistant Coach Notre Dame College ‘13
We are excited to announce the addition of Jeremy Carper to the coaching staff! Jeremy enters his first spring as a volunteer assistant and will assist in the areas of hitting, catching, and baserunning.
Carper comes to Ohio Wesleyan from Thomas Worthington High School, where he served most recently as head coach of the JVA team. For the last two seasons, he has served as a head coach in the Boss Aces and Columbus Cobras organizations.
Jeremy started his baseball career at Grove City High School under Coach Ryan Alexander, where he played infield and was a team captain. Upon graduation, he went on to play infield at Notre Dame College, graduating in 2013 with a degree in Sports Management. In 2016, he graduated from The Rising Leaders Program at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
He is currently enrolled at Ohio Christian University pursuing his master’s degree in leadership with a concentration in business administration and resides in Powell with his wife Shelby and their two daughters, Eleanor, 4, and Remington, 2.
PROSPECT CAMP
The OWU coaching staff is excited to announce that there are limited spots still available for our annual Winter Prospect Day. The showcase-style workout will be led by the Ohio Wesleyan coaching staff and current players in the Gordon Field House on campus here at OWU.
