The main components of truck mixer Operating principle of the truck mixer The full power takeoff of engine transfers the power to hydraulic pump through transmission shaft. The hydraulic pressure is transferred to hydraulic motor through oil pipe, which will convert the hydraulic pressure to kinetic energy. The kinetic energy is transferred to the mixing cylinder through the speed reduction and torque rise achieved by the reducer to drive the mixing cylinder and achieve feeding, mixing, stirring and discharging etc.

Safety operation of truck mixer Selection of qualified driver The driver of truck mixer should meet the following qualifications: A valid driver's license; Good health; Eyesight above 0.7, without color blindness; Audition should meet the requirements of working conditions; Be familiar with operation of the water supply and the operating system and receive training; Know well escaping approaches under various emergencies; Presonnel under the influence of alcohal or druge and those taking reactioninhibiting medicine may not operate the mixer truck.

The operator of truck mixer should meet the following qualifications:

 All mixer truck operators must receive specialized training;  All mixer truck operators must be equipped with necessary personal protective equipment; not wear loose clothes and scarf, and open coat or loosen shirt sleeves, so as to avoid being trapped in any rotating parts;  Presonnel under the influence of alcohal or drug and those taking reactioninhibiting medicine may not operate the mixer truck.

 Read the instructions carefully. 

Before a new truck is put into use, it must undergo trial run, and it is required to check: whether the drive system, control system and water supply work normally; whether the transmission case has any abnormal noise; whether accessories and driver’s tools are complete.

 Carry out inspection before operating the truck mixer. If discovering any crack, oil and ice, etc. on the armrest, foot step, and dashboard, eliminate the risk and then operate the truck; otherwise, it may be at risk of slip and injury.

 It is prohibited to carry any people on the ladder and platform when the truck is on the way of transportation.

 Overloading is prohibited.

 Travelling at a high speed is prohibited.

 Do not park the truck near a place with combustible materials, e.g. wilted grass, after traveling, so as to prevent the overheated exhaust pipe from setting fire to such materials around;

 Pull up the parking brake by all means during feeding and discharging operation.Wedge supports must be underlaid the wheels when the truck is parked on a slope to prevent the truck from gliding.

Avoid the engine from immediate shutoff at a high temperature. This is unfavorable for the engine to radiate heat, hence affecting the service life of the engine.

Maintenance for truck mixer chassis Class I maintenance a) Cleaning: flush body and chassis and wipe engine as well as all parts of chassis, clean fuel pump, air filter and fuel filter; b) Inspection and tightening: check fixation of connecting bolt and nut for all parts of engine, chassis, tip mechanism, seat and body. Test and tighten if necessary. Especially pay attention to the one with specified torque; c) Adjusting: check and adjust tension of fan belt as per requirements, free travel of brake pedal and clutch pedal, free oscillation of steering wheel and travel of parking brake lever; d) Tyre: inflate and provide with valve cover as per requirements, and check outer surface of tyre for serious scuffing.


Maintenance for truck mixer chassis Class II maintenance a) All items of Class I maintenance; b) Clean engine oil filter element, and replace paper filter element of engine oil primary filter; c) Check clutch and brake main pump; d) Overhaul wheel brake. Clean, lubricate and adjust clearance among hub bearing, brake friction plate and brake hub, and rotate wheels; e) Replace engine and transmission, and change lubricant for middle and rear axles; f) Drain deposit in fuel tank, and clean fuel filter; g) Check and adjust cleft of valve;


Maintenance for truck mixer chassis Class II maintenance h) Overhaul injection pump and transfer pump if necessary, and adjust injecting pressure and spraying; i) Check fixation of cylinder cover nut, and tighten to specified moment under hot condition; j) Check and adjust free travel of clutch pedal and brake pedal; k) Check level of steering gear oil tank, and replenish as per specified level if insufficient; l) Check free rotation of steering wheel, and adjust if necessary;

Clean or replace filter element of air filter for air compressor.

Maintenance for truck mixer chassis Class III maintenance During Class III maintenance of truck, if some parts of engine are deformed greatly, which results in obvious inferior engine performance and increased fuel consumption, carry out the following work on engine: a) Dismantle cylinder cover to check valve and its seat, guide and spring as well as rocker shaft etc., and repair or replace if necessary; b) Check wear of piston ring, piston, cylinder liner, small end bush and bearing bush of connecting rod, repair or replace if necessary;


Maintenance for truck mixer chassis Class III maintenance c) Measure axial clearance of crankshaft, and check wear of thrust plate and main bearing bush. Replace if surface of bearing bush appears serious spalling, ablation or scuffing; d) Check wear of timing gear, drive gear and engaging surface. Measure backlash, and repair and replace if necessary; e) Clean cylinder body, oil pan and screen of engine oil strainer; f) Running-in maintenance: refer to items of Class I maintenance; g) Seasonal maintenance: refer to Class II maintenance.
