slaves all over the country. I look up to her and hope to lead my people to freedom just like her,” the young woman says. As the fight for civil rights continue we all must keep on moving. No matter what people say to bring us down we can’t stop. We will continue to look up to Cassie and what she has accomplished. Brown v. Board of Education, the March on Washington, and joining the NAACP are just a few of those accomplishments. She says that she is going to continue to take a stand and fight for her right to be free. As we all look forward to the next few weeks make sure to tell all of your friends and family about our upcoming protests on every Sunday until we are free. “Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal,” says fellow leader Dr. Martin Luther King Junior.
