Students recognize colors and clothes vocabulary in flash cards and when describing pictures which are shown to them. Students match clothes in a picture using colors and clothes vocabulary. Students listen to a recording and repeat the words as a pronunciation activity. Students write sentences according to a picture. Students play a memory game where they have to memorise
Evaluations
Written test which includes a reading and listening part about the contents seen in the unit. Students write an invitation to a friend that includes: *the reason why they are having the party. *time and date of the party. *information about the place and address. * a request.

the clothes they see in a picture and then say as much descriptions as they can without looking at the picture in a speaking activity. Students listen to a recording of four people talking about clothing styles to complete a chart. Students work in pairs and ask to each other questions about what kind of clothes they usually wear in different occasions such as a party, a friends’ meeting etc . Then they tell the class about their partner. Students read a text message and answer some questions to recognize the present continuous structure. Students complete a table using the present continuous examples of the text they had read. Students look at a picture and according to it, they correct some sentences. Students write sentences using the present continuous form of the verb. Students work in pairs asking and answering questions using present continuous. Students read a text and speak about it. They infer in the meaning of some words and answer some questions.
Students recognize and understand when to use present simple and present continuous working in reading, writing and speaking activities in the page 41 in the solutions book. Students read and listen a dialogue about an arrangement. Students recognize prepositions of time and apply them in writing and listening activities. Students read different invitations and identify what is the request in each of them. Students write an invitation to a friend including a request, prepositions of time and using present simple and continuous.
