Location: Villa de Leyva. Colombia Surface: 38750 sqf. Año: 2016

The project welcomes the cultural and heritage values of Villa de Leyva. Stone cladding, sinuous forms, white facades, are elements of the city and they are present in the project. The wine complex considers a production warehouse, offices, bottling area, tasting room, museum, restaurant and hotel.

It is composed by two storage modules interconnected through a central office module. The design is inspired by the natural elements present in a vineyard and in its landscape. The tilted pillars represent the trunks and branches. The foliage is represented in the double facade, which brings lightness to the main structure. while the landscape is present from the large windows.

The work is composed of a terrace where three oak vats were transformed into a wine cellar and a tasting room. It has a module of handmade brick, destined to the room of sales and exhibition of products and another one to services, kitchen and bathrooms. On top of this, it›s erected a metallic structure with robust, simple and subtle landmark image.

The project is located between hills and vineyards, destined to the wine tasting. Composed by an unique space on metallic stilts, communicated with the landscape through large windows. The ceiling and the back wall are clad with wood. An outdoor terrace at the top, invites you to enjoy the view.

Noble materials with neutral character, creating a space of comfort and relaxation. The side walls are fragmented creating two spaces. A tasting and recreation area and a work area and customer service. The composition ends with a large terrace and a view towards the city of Hong Kong, suitable for events and activities around wine.

The project consists of three programs inserted in an old vineyard in Corinto, Maule Valley, Chile. The main objective of this project is to make the guests live an experience around the wine and vineyard of this small ancient town. Relaxation, peace, rest, nature and wine tourism is the offer that this project aims to; what would finally connect the guests with surrounding area and the wines produced there.
