2. Drawing Content – Plans 1. Floor Plans – illustrate the parameters/area and the divisions between rooms within the buildings. It provides entry and exit points and thus the overall shape. [Dimensions are provided and are always documented in units of millimeters] 2. General Notes – Discrepancies to be brought to immediate attention 3. Legend – Aids in the understanding of the drawing details and conventions 4. Annotations – can be used to make amendments (e.g. Courtyard – remove existing concrete pavers) 5. Section Location on Plan – Forward and Backward Referencing 6. Floor Levels – FFL or FCL 7. Window Drawing Convention 8. Door Drawing Convention

Clouds are used when amendments are m ade and therefore there are cost or construction ramifications
