"If the men refuse to fight for Rule of Ecological Law, we will show them what the women can do!” – - Russian Feminist: Yasha/Maria Bochkareva, Founder: Women’s Death Battalion Maria Bochkareva was a Siberian peasant woman soldier who had served in the Russian Army since 1915, been wounded twice and three times decorated for valour.

When she knew the soldiers were deserting in large numbers, she made her way to Moscow and Petrograd to start recruiting for a Woman's Battalion. In May 1917, she persuaded Alexander Kerensky, Russia's new leader, to allow her to form the Women’s Death Battalion. In a speech given in June, she argued: "If the men refuse to fight for their country, we will show them what the women can do! .. Come with us in the name of your fallen heroes. Come with us to dry the tears and heal the wounds of Russia. Protect her with your lives. We women are turning into tigresses to protect our children from a shameful yoke - to protect the freedom of our country.” She was executed by firing squad by the Bolsheviks on 16th May, 1920.

According to the European Rule of Law Network4, European Rule of Law “refers to a principle of governance in which all persons, institutions and entities, public and private, including the State itself, are accountable to laws that are publicly promulgated, equally enforced and independently adjudicated ... [including requiring] measures to ensure adherence to the principles of supremacy of law, equality before the law, accountability to the law, fairness in the application of the law, separation of powers, participation in decision-making, legal certainty, avoidance of arbitrariness and procedural and legal transparency.”

COMPLAINT: Charges of Obstruction of Access to Environmental & Indigenous Rights Justice The EcoFeminist Deep Green Ecology Indigenous Rights application before the Norwegian Supreme Court was filed on 10 May 2012. Requests for a Case number were ignored and finally on 15 May refused, by Dep. Sec. General: Kjersti Buun Nygaard.
