OVERVIEW Atlanta’s son Jamal “Polow da Don” Jones has finally begun the work he envisioned so long ago by giving dreams to children with every milestone he achieves.

The purpose of F.O.C.U.S., which stands for “Focusing on Completion Until Successful,” is to create several events, workshops and environments for children and families in underserved areas that normally wouldn’t be privy to these opportunities. Through various community events and activities, our programs will assist at-risk youth in their efforts to ensure children develop goals and not concede defeat.

MISSION The mission of F.O.C.U.S. is to instill a desire for education, interpersonal skills, networking and marketability within our youth. F.O.C.U.S. will provide assistance through a variety of programs, seminars and panels to ensure success in producing educated, humble, talented and goal-oriented youth.

POLOW DA DON Born in the music-laden metropolis of Atlanta, Georgia, Polow da Don exemplifies the vision and work ethic that after a decade of diligence has afforded him the rank as the “go-to hitmaker” of the millennium and earned him the title of Billboard’s Top Producer of 2010. His experience in musical production ranges from some of music’s biggest names to some of the most well known Fortune 500 Companies. With his continued success in the music business, Polow da Don seeks to give back to the communities that raised him and made his present life possible.

Foundation F.O.C.U.S. is a medium through which he can inspire the youth and help them set goals and prepare for the future. Polow da Don contributes regularly to Atlanta with initiatives such as Toyz in the Hood and Ben Hill Recreation Center donations while simultaneously giving back to his Alma Maters: Ralphe Bunche Middle School and D.M. Therell High School. For the past four years, Polow has also chosen a disadvantaged family in Atlanta and paid their rent for the entire year. In addition to the free-rent contest, Polow gives back with an annual Thanksgiving Carnival in Atlanta’s Zone 4, where he donates over 1,000 turkeys, provides carnival rides, food and brings together his celebrity friends for entertainment through a free concert for the commuity. Past musical guests have included Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, Monica, Ludacris, Big Boi of Outkast, Bow Wow, Lloyd and more. Polow was recently honored with a Phoenix Award and Proclamation from the city of Atlanta for his philanthropy. Polow and his foundation are constantly cultivating and encouraging high standards for his peers to follow.

CELEBRATION 4 A CAUSE Celebration 4 A Cause seeks to raise funds and spread awareness about cancer through music and fashion, two means that are constantly bringing people together and encouraging discourse. By supporting Foundation F.O.C.U.S.’ health and wellness platform with the “F.O.C.U.S. 4 Life” campaign initiative and C4AC benefit, your efforts, time, and funds will help aid us in our endeavors to bring progression in strengthening our families, neighborhoods, and loved ones who may be experiencing cancer -- either.
