DID YOU KNOW? The Legacy Trail was recently extended nearly eight miles from Culverhouse Nature Park to downtown Sarasota, including two new trailheads.

Users can now bike, walk, skate or stroll on approximately 30 miles of non-motorized, multi-use trail in Sarasota County. The Legacy Trail extension project is still underway. Pompano Trailhead is anticipated to be completed summer 2022, and the North Port Connector is expected to be completed in fall 2022.
