Vintage Boutique Show Keeps Building Momentum Top designers and dealers came together again for a second pop up shop for collectors and enthusiasts. CULVER CITY — October 9, 2010 — Following a hugely successful kickoff in June, the second Vintage Boutique show at the Helms Design District on September 25, 2010 continued to grow with even more individually selected top-tier dealers and designers and an abundant shopper turnout. Classic, designer and repurposed vintage clothing wears were sold in addition to vintage jewelry and other accessories. Enthusiastic shoppers were impressed with great finds from returning vendors as well as new dealers. And even men’s vintage was represented in a bigger way this time with the addition of Vintage Blue Moon presenting an impressive collection of hard-to-find garments and accessories for gentlemen.

Keeping with the momentum built during the second show, a third event will occur on December 11, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. again at the Lightspace Studio located at 8755 Washington Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232. (10 minutes from downtown, 40 minutes from Orange County, 30 minutes from Long Beach and 15 minutes from Santa Monica). Out of the dealers who were present at the second event, Rockstar Vintage Couture, Jermel Nakia, Vintage Blue Moon, Elizabeth G, Timeless Vixen, Miss Kory Lynn and Clever Vintage Clothing have already committed to sell their wares at this upcoming show during the holiday season. Dealers interested in participating in the December Vintage Boutique event should reserve their space soon. Space will be limited in order to maintain the show’s intimate feel and to keep the event uncongested. Shoppers interested in attending the December event should visit the show’s Facebook page: Helm's Design District Vintage Boutique. ABOUT CLEVER VINTAGE CLOTHING Clever Vintage Clothing launched in 1991 after its owner Dave C. Temple spent a lifetime inspired by vintage apparel and collected a garage full of great finds from across the United States. Temple eventually set up a showroom in downtown Los Angeles where customers of all kinds — designers, stylists, buyers, store owners, and vintage clothing collectors and enthusiasts — could find the vintage clothing they either personally wanted or needed for their business practices at a fair price with less hassle. It was a clever endeavor that has grown for over a decade and remains in its original downtown Los Angeles location.
