Inaugural Vintage Clothing Boutique Show Hugely Successful 12 top designers and dealers from Los Angeles area set up a pop up shop for collectors and enthusiasts CULVER CITY — June 21, 2010 — 12 individually selected dealers and designers showed off their wares to an enthusiastic crowd at the Lightspace Studio in Culver City this past weekend at the first vintage clothing boutique show organized by Dave Temple of Clever Vintage Clothing (CleverVintageClothing.com). The event, which took place in the Helms Design District, was a huge success with stylists, fashionistas, costumers and vintage fans throughout Los Angeles and its surrounding areas attending and hitting the racks with delight. "The space was really amazing," said Lauren Lepire of Timeless Vixen (TimelessVixen.com) who made a rare appearance as a vendor. “The bright, loft with lots of natural light really showed off the clothing well. And the overall vibe was wonderful. Everyone had a great time.” Classic, designer and repurposed vintage clothing wears were sold in addition to vintage jewelry and artwork giving the customers a large variety of options to choose from. The LightSpace Studio is located at 8755 Washington Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232. The next Vintage Clothing Boutique will take place in late September 2010. ABOUT CLEVER VINTAGE CLOTHING Clever Vintage Clothing launched in 1991 after its owner Dave C. Temple spent a lifetime inspired by vintage apparel and collected a garage full of great finds from across the United States. Temple eventually set up a showroom in downtown Los Angeles where customers of all kinds — designers, stylists, buyers, store owners, and vintage clothing collectors and enthusiasts — could find the vintage clothing they either personally wanted or needed for their business practices at a fair price with less hassle. It was a clever endeavor that has grown for over a decade and remains in its original downtown Los Angeles location.
