The Look Ahead
The painter will follow the mechanical and electrical trades by painting all of the building steel and piping through the warehouse. Light fixtures and final MEP connections will be made in preparation for owner-provided racking and shelving that is scheduled for mid-November installation. Office area finishes will charge full speed ahead over the next month. With the ceiling grid almost fully installed, flooring, casework and finish paint will follow closely behind. Executive Summary
If you’ve been to the site lately, you know it has been a very busy place! The building is dried-in, and the site is shaping up ahead of the inclement weather that we know is right round the corner. The first course of asphalt paving is down and the landscaper will install plantings soon. Painting and ceiling grid is going in the office areas, while the mechanical and electrical trades closely follow, dropping in lights and sprinkler heads. The warehouse area is shaping up as the fire suppression and mechanical systems are being installed, and painting is about to start. A lot more will change in the building as we move into November, so stay tuned!
