Tanglewood Park - Drywall Finishing
Executive Summary The month of May is known for several holidays, including Cinco de Mayo, Mothers Day and Memorial Day. It also hosts a few rather odd holidays as well. For example, May 3rd is known as Lumpy Rug Day – if you haven’t replaced your old, warn, lumpy rugs, there has never been a better time! May 8th is No Socks Day, May 9th is Lost Sock Memorial Day, and here is one to look forward to...May 20th is Be A Millionaire Day. We won’t be celebrating these holidays on the jobsites, but we do have our own highlights that are a cause for celebration.
In Holland, there won’t be an area of the project that goes untouched during the month of May. Overhead utilities are sprawling across the job while the drywall is being hung and sitework is being prepped. As we move into summer, wall tile will be installed in the bathrooms and casework will start arriving on site. It won’t be long before you’ll see changes to the exterior with new concrete and sidewalks going in. Maria Nykerk Project Manager
At Tanglewood Park the night shift has started the fire protection system while the remaining utilities continue during the day shift. Drywall finishing is ongoing in some areas while primer and first coat of paint has started in others. Ceiling grid and casework are ongoing as well. On the exterior, the sitework will be progressing with the water and sewer, grading, sidewalks, curbs, and the remainder of the roofing throughout the month. Tanglewood Park - Exterior Canopy
This month’s spotlight shines on Allied Electric for carefully working through both projects and staying on track with the schedule. Bob and Mitch stand out as Foreman because they are proactive pre-planners who address issues before they arise, saving everyone time and headaches. Thank you to Allied, Bob, Mitch and the entire team! Inside Scoop | May 2015

Metal Panel and Brick Work
The Look Ahead at Tanglewood Park Tanglewood Park is moving along very well. All drywall is hung and we will be wrapping up the drywall finish soon. We have started the priming and first coats of walls in several areas. We have started ceiling grid and tile work in painted areas. The re-roof of the existing building is nearly complete. Metal roof trims have started going on as we try to wrap up the work on the exterior of the building. The excavators have started to prep the site for concrete curbs and walks to start again. We have some city utility connections planned for later this month, which require detailed coordination with LifeCircles to ensure they are able to stay open. We also will run fire protection lines through the existing building to connect the new addition, requiring night shifts until this work is complete. Mike Chrisman Field Manager

The Look Ahead in Holland There is a lot of activity taking place throughout the Holland project with over 6-7 different trades onsite at a time, and those numbers will only continue to increase. We are currently hanging drywall, installing overhead pipes, and ductwork. We are also are starting exterior concrete for the patio and patient drop off and pick up out front. Looking ahead to the completion of the concrete, we can begin restoring the landscape and the decorative fence around the patio. After the drywall is hung and finished we will start wall tile in the bathrooms and prepare for first coat of paint.

Safety... Our recent safety visit resulted in zero violations and a clean job site. Great job to everyone so we can all go home safe and sound! Fun Fact... We have two thousand sheets of drywall on the project, if they were placed end-to-end they would equal 5 miles in length! Joe Shashaguay Senior Field Manager Drywall & Mechanical Installation
