»» In last week’s Super Bowl game the average ad for a 30 second time slot cost $3.7 million, with a total $1.85 billion ad dollars spent! To put things in perspective that is about half of what it cost to building the new One World Trade Center Building in NYC.
Executive Summary
The Look Ahead
With the emergency department settled in their new space the lobby is ready for its upgraded look and feel. The lobby renovation will consist of two phases. The first phase is currently under construction and will recreate a portion of the existing lobby and a portion of the old emergency department and be expanded into an updated reception area, patient check-in, public restrooms to match those in the new emergency department and lab draw rooms. When phase one is near completion the finishes will transition in to phase two and the temporary construction wall will be shifted to the north side of the lobby allowing phase two construction to begin. Phase two will expand into an updated waiting area that will include a newly installed fire place.
In the next few weeks the construction team will continue to tackle Phase 1 of the project. We are at a transition point from rough framing and mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough-ins to wall board and early stage finishes. Now that the local inspectors have signed off on what will be buried in the walls D9 Systems will be on site hang, tape and finish the wall board. As wall board begins to progress we will begin the paint and flooring in the new lab draw rooms. This will allow the Dimension Four Painting to roll straight from the lab draw rooms into the renovation area when D9 Systems is finished with the wall board. As the finishes such as paint and flooring progress HighPoint Electric will be on site pulling wire through the conduits that they have already installed in the walls.
