Making Memories Slice Elite and “Wedding” MS+ design card four different shades of teal cardstock teal glitter cardstock (such as American Crafts’ in aqua) vellum “thank you” stamp (such as “Thank You” with bird from Basic Grey’s Fauna collection) white ink (such as ColorBox Cat’s Eye Queue pigment ink in frost white) glue (such as Aleene’s Jewel-It) adhesive pencil
Select four different shades of teal cardstock, from light to dark. Cut 4.5-inch squares from each piece of teal cardstock. Make a card from a 5-by-10-inch piece of teal glitter cardstock.
Apply Slice adhesive to the cutting mat, and place the square of the lightest shade of cardstock facedown on the mat. Select a scalloped round shape from the “Wedding” design card and cut a 4-inch shape.
Using the “frame” created by cutting out the shape, place the frame on the back of the square of the second shade of cardstock. Trace the lower-left “scallop” in pencil.
Place the second piece of cardstock facedown on the mat. Select the same shape from the design card, and select the 3 1/2-inch size. When the blade moves into place, set the Slice on the paper so that the blade housing is close to, but not touching, the center of the pencil mark. Start the cut.
This is what the first two pieces will look like after the cuts are made. Continue the same process with the third and fourth squares of cardstock, cutting out 3-inch and 2 1/2-inch shapes.
Once all cuts have been made, adhere the squares, one on top of another, from the smallest shape to the largest shape. Trim the edges if necessary.
Glue the cardstock to the card, in the center. Cut a 1-by-6-inch piece of vellum.
Ink the “thank you stamp in white (the bird is not inked). Stamp onto the right side of the vellum, about 1 inch from the right edge. Allow the ink to dry. Place the vellum over the center of the card. Fold the edges of the vellum around the card. Adhere the ends that fold over to the inside of the card.
