Making Memories Slice and “Vintage Findings” design card adhesive scrap paper seafoam green and white textured cardstock teal glitter cardstock (such as Marcella by K Fresh Paint) flourish stamp (such as Josephine Kimberling for Impress) cupcake stamps (such as “Hey There Cupcake” by Stampendous) teal ink (such as Martha Stewart in aloe) and black ink several jewel-like and pearl-like embellishments hot-pink ribbon teal brush marker (such as Marvy Le Plume II No. 73) black Sakura Glaze pen and white Sakura Gelly Roll pen
Cut a 2-inch circle out of scrap paper using the “Vintage Findings” card. Mark an “X” on the circle where the Slice began its cut (an “X” is shown on its screen). Cut a 9-inch long piece of glitter cardstock that is wider than the circle (here, the width is about 2 1/4 inches).
Use the circle as a guide to determine where three circles will be cut on the glitter paper. Using the white pen, mark an “X” on the glitter paper next to the “X” on the circle. This is approximately where the Slice will cut the shapes. In this case, the marks are at 1 1/2, 3 3/4 and 6 inches.
Select the same 2-inch circle on the design card. When the Slice is ready to cut, place the machine on the glitter paper so that the blade is positioned over the white “X. Repeat for the last two circles.
When finished cutting, your glitter paper should look like this. Trim the height of the glitter paper if the cutouts are not centered.
Use the brush pen to cover up the white marks on the glitter paper.
Make a card from an 8-by-9-inch piece of seafoam green cardstock. Stamp the flourish image multiple times over the front of the card in teal ink.
Cut a piece of white cardstock to the same size as the glitter paper. Adhere the glitter paper to the white paper; adhere that to the center of the card.
Using black ink, stamp a cupcake in the center of each cutout. Trace over each image using the black Glaze pen. Affix embellishments to the “frosting on each cupcake. Tie the ribbon around the front of the card.
