There are various annual fund giving levels and benefits available for consideration.
Washington Business HALL OF FAME Founded in 1988 by JAGW, the Greater Washington Board of Trade, and Washingtonian, the annual Washington Business Hall of Fame gala recognizes the outstanding business leaders in our region who have made Greater Washington the city that it is today. The Washington Business Hall of Fame offers sponsorship opportunities at a variety of giving levels, each of which provides donors with specific benefits at the event itself. All funding that comes from the Washington Business Hall of Fame will directly support JAGW’s K-12 financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs.
BOWL-a-THON The Junior Achievement Bowl-a-Thon is a one-of -a-kind annual team-building event for any company, giving employees the opportunity to work together, strategize, bowl, and raise money for JAGW’s innovative financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs. Select a date, time, and location, and JAGW will
work with you to make it a fun and successful event. Various sponsorship levels and benefits have been designed to ensure participants are recognized for their contributions to JAGW. All proceeds from the Bowl-a-Thon will support JAGW’s K-12 programming.
FINANCE PARK Inspiring a generation to be financially capable requires building a bridge from the classroom to the future— and, that’s exactly what the Junior Achievement Finance Park experience does through its hands-on, digital curriculum. Students begin their experience with 15 hours of classroom curriculum, taught by their teachers, which provides the building blocks of personal finance. At Finance Park, these young people will put their skills to the test when they leave behind their lives as eighth graders and become adults with careers, families, and financial obligations. Using tablet computers, they will make decisions about buying a home, purchasing and maintaining a vehicle, budgeting for student loans and health care expenses, and choosing child care, among other decisions designed to prepare them for the future. There are many opportunities to sponsor JAGW’s Finance Park. In addition to making an annual donation to support the program, there are various naming/branding opportunities available within the Park. Sponsors have the chance to design a space at a specific Finance Park location and receive name recognition within the space for a multi-year period. Capital funding opportunities are also available.
Junior Achievement would be happy to work with you to develop a tailored partnership package.
