Restaurant YEARS IN TRUCKEE 17 years ORIGINALLY FROM Mexico City WHY TRUCKEE I moved here because of
the beautiful environment and friendly people. I started doing dishes at Casa Baeza, working for the previous owner, and I held every job in the restaurant until the owner sold it and my uncle Miguel Aguilar and I bought it 6 years ago. I like Truckee and am happy to own a restaurant here - I love interacting with customers and our community. I spend a lot of time working because I have a lot of passion for this restaurant, so when I’m not working, I’m mostly enjoying time with my beautiful wife. We love the natural beauty of Donner Lake and the Truckee River and enjoy hanging out with friends in Verdi and antiquing as well. I’m happy for roots in this community through Casa Baeza.
