WE ARE

BRAVE

Late Summer–FALL 2019

Back to School: The class of 2020 started school bright and early with our annual “Senior Sunrise” breakfast. We also welcomed the class of 2023 with the annual freshman immersion and orientation. The Mass of the Holy Spirit: Celebrated in Clark Gym. WE LOVE: Each year, Justin-Siena unpacks a portion of the theme, ALLHEART: We Love. We Will. We Believe., as we learn what it means to be a Lasallian Catholic school. The ALLHEART theme for 2019-20 was “We Love.” Throughout the year we demonstrated our love for our on-and-off campus communities through sacrifice, service, and showing up. Advisory Service: The entire school participated in bringing items creating Care Packages for those in our community experiencing homelessness. Each Advisory group collected certain items such as socks, toiletries, gallon Ziploc bags, snacks, etc. Wellness Fair: Dozens of local organizations were invited to showcase all things health and wellness to hundreds of our local youth.

J-SPA: (Justin-Siena Parent Association) Led by an Executive Board and guided by school administration, the newly formed J-SPA provides proactive, positive, and meaningful support to the curricular and co-curricular programs of the school through promotion, service, and assistance to all areas of school life. Homecoming Week: “Decades” This fun tradition culminated with Jordan Wright ‘20 and Makayla Porter-Mowe ‘20 being named the Homecoming King and Queen at half time of our 41-0 football victory over rival Sonoma. Venaver El Paso, TX: Students travelled to El Paso, TX for a week long social justice immersion experience.
