FAMILY FUN SUNDAYS
Welcome... Enjoy unique performances, exciting workshops, engaging after school activities and more at JW3 this season. Our Family Fun Sundays include Storytelling and Story Writing workshops, Cable Street Graffiti Mural making and Rosh Hashanah Baking. Plus there’s a performance of the award-winning Bec and Tom’s Awesome Laundry, taking you on a journey of friendship, courage and persistence. Celebrate Chanukah with us at Chanukah Funukah on 25 December, featuring crafts, music, doughnuts and dancing. Young people can bring out their inner scientist with After School Science Club or practice their hip-hop moves at our Street Dance classes. For younger children there’s a wide selection of activities including Family Music Time, Baby Yoga and JW3 Playgroup. We have it covered for parents too, from Antenatal and NCT classes to one-off talks with helpful parenting tips. We’re holding a wide variety of High Holiday and Chanukah events. Join Jewish Interactive for a fun filled afternoon of tech-citement! Our iPad and computer sessions blend digital technology with Jewish tradition and education. Learn how to create a fun, interactive game – we’ll provide the iPads, the computers and the fun, all you have to do is come along! For ages 4-7 and 8-11. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
An Israeli get-together designed especially for Rosh Hashanah and Succot! We’ll celebrate just like home - with Shlomit and her succah, Shana Tova songs, pomegranate and lots of dancing and fun. COMMUNICATING EFFECTIVELY WITH TEENAGERS
7.30-8.30pm, £10 Explore the effect of the online media revolution on the parent-child relationship with educational and child psychology consultant Doron Wittenberg, who casts light on our understanding of the fundamental changes in the interaction between children and technology. SIBLING RELATIONSHIPS: SOWING THE SEEDS 8-10pm, £15 per adult, £25 per couple This lecture explores how to initiate positive and close sibling relationships, including sensitivity and empathy toward each other and a sense of team spirit. Plus tips for how to handle sibling conflicts. Dr Kalanit Ben-Ari is a family therapist, lecturer and Chair of Imago Relationship Therapy in the UK.

LET’S TALK ABOUT BABIES 11am-12.30pm, £5 A wonderful opportunity for parents and parents-to-be to come together and meet other new parents while gaining practical information in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. In the session we will focus on sleep and how to get more of it. Jill Wheatcroft, co-founder of Riverside Cares, has extensive experience as a lecturer in child health and as a paediatric nursing sister.

HOW TO BOOK TICKETS Tickets may be booked via our secure website 24 hours a day, by phone, or in person at JW3 during opening hours. We do not charge a booking fee. All listings are correct at time of going to press and may be subject to change. Check the website for more information. If an event is cancelled or abandoned, tickets will be refunded or exchanged. CONCESSIONS & DISCOUNTS We offer concessions on many of our ticket prices for several groups, including recipients of Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Disability Living Allowance, full-time students in possession of NUS/ISIC cards, and companions/carers of people with disabilities. The Six Point Foundation survivor enrichment programme grant can, at JW3’s discretion, provide an 80% reduction for entrance to a wide range of events at JW3 for those Holocaust survivors and refugees who would like to attend but have financial needs. The Six Point Foundation grant can also assist with transport costs, carers and other relevant accessibility costs for those unable to meet these costs themselves.
