Im Zauberwald

Nicht nur in der Alpenstadt selbst gibt es viel zu sehen und zu entdecken, auch rundherum blüht das Leben und die Natur. Die Region Innsbruck lässt einem gar keine andere Wahl, als sich zu entspannen und tief durchzuatmen – und das auf vielfältige Art und Weise.

Eine Wanderung rund um Innsbruck ist ein wahres Entschleunigungsprogramm für Körper und Geist, und wenn am Ende des Weges noch dazu eine urige Hütte wartet, freut sich auch noch der Gaumen. Auf den romantischen Wegen wird man immer wieder mit herrlichen Blicken auf die Stadt belohnt und am Ziel oben angekommen, scheint die Zeit dann endgültig stehen geblieben zu sein. Wer seine Wanderung direkt vom Stadtzentrum aus starten möchte, dem stehen ebenfalls die Türen ein paar einladender Almen offen. Wandern kann man übrigens auch mit tierischer Begleitung – zum Beispiel in Obsteig auf dem Mieminger Plateau: Immer freitags gibt es hier auf dem Aschlandhof eine geführte Familien-Lama-Wanderung. Besonders auf Kinder wirken die kuscheligen Tragetiere mit ihrem Charme und so steigt die „Wandermotivation“ noch mehr.

ie kühle Frühlingsluft kitzelt in der Nase, im Wald herrscht, abgesehen von den Geräuschen des von den Bäumen fallenden, schmelzenden Schnees und der Geräusche der tierischen Bewohner, absolute Ruhe. Die Sonne blitzt zwischen den Gipfeln der blendenden Bergspitzen hindurch. Ganz von selbst wird es einem bei einem Frühlingsspaziergang durch die Region Innsbruck klar: Es ist Zeit, allen Stress loszulassen und das Hier und Jetzt zu genießen.

Nach einer ausgelassenen Wanderung oder einem Spaziergang gibt es wohl nichts Schöneres, als einfach mal abzutauchen und sich von Wärme und Wasser tragen zu lassen. There is not only much to see and discover in the alpine city itself, life and nature also flourishes around Innsbruck. The Innsbruck region gives you no choice at all but to relax and breathe deeply – in a number of ways!

he cool spring air tickles the nose. Absolute silence prevails in the forest, apart from the sounds of melting snow falling from the trees and the sounds of animal inhabitants. The sun sparkles through between the summits of the dazzling mountain peaks. The situation becomes automatically clear during a spring walk through the Innsbruck region: it is time to let go of all stress and to enjoy the here and now.

In the enchanted forest

A hike around Innsbruck is a veritable relaxation programme for body and soul, and the palate is also pleased when a rustic hut is waiting for you at the end of the trail. On the romantic trails you are repeatedly rewarded with wonderful views of the city, and once you arrive at the destination above, the time in between seems to have definitely stood still. Anyone who would like to start their hike directly from the city centre will also find the doors of a few inviting alpine pasture huts open to them. Incidentally, you can also hike with animal companionship – for example in Obsteig on the Mieming Plateau: on Fridays there are always guided family llama hikes here at Gasthof Aschlandhof. The cuddly pack animals have a special effect on children with their charm, and the “motivation to hike” increases even more.

Simply plunge in

After an exuberant hike or a walk there is probably nothing nicer than to simply plunge in and be pampered by heat and water. INNSBRUCK IM SCHNELLDURCHLAUF Nur wenig Zeit, aber so viel steht auf dem Sightseeing-Zettel? Keine Angst, in Innsbruck kann man sich auch in kurzer Zeit verlieben. Ein paar Leitfäden, wie man die Stadt am effektivsten und trotzdem stressfreisten entdecken kann, gibt es auf dieser Seite. 24 Stunden

Ein voller Tag ist ausreichend, um die wichtigsten Hotspots Innsbrucks zu erleben: In Innsbruck startet der Erlebnistag am besten in der Herzog-FriedrichStraße. Das Zentrum Innsbrucks ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für aufregende Erlebnisse und liegt gleichzeitig direkt am Goldenen Dachl, dem hell strahlenden Wahrzeichen Innsbrucks. Umgeben von bunten Häuserfassaden, Erkern und Lauben krönt die imposante Nordkette mit ihren über 2.000 Meter hohen Berggipfeln die Szenerie. Hier können schon die ersten Erinnerungen auf Fotos festgehalten werden. Entspannt geht es durch den Rundbogen neben der Hofburg, vorbei am Landestheater und dem Musikpavillon am Teich. Der Hofgarten mit seinem Riesenschach und den vielen verschiedenen Pflanzen- und Baumarten lädt zu gemütlichen Erfrischungen, genüsslichen Spaziergängen und angenehmem Verweilen ein – so viel Zeit muss sein. Gleich „ums Eck“ befindet sich die Hofburg mit der Hofkirche, eine der eindrucksvollsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wer lieber shoppen und bummeln geht: Hier reihen sich auch zahlreiche Geschäfte. Mitten in der Maria-Theresien-Straße, sodass gleichzeitig auch die Annasäule bewundert werden kann. Um Innsbruck von oben zu erleben, ist es empfehlenswert, mit den Nordkettenbahnen die Seegrube oder das Hafelekar bequem zu erkunden. Wenn die Zeit allerdings knapp ist, gibt es auch eine andere Möglichkeit, in Innsbruck hoch hinaus zu gelangen: den mittelalterlichen Stadtturm.

Wer zwei Tage zur Verfügung hat, kann am zweiten Tag Innsbruck und Umgebung entdecken. Startpunkt sind die Swarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens. Nachmittags geht es auf den majestätischen Patscherkofel. Wenn das Schönwetter kurz pausiert, bietet Innsbruck aufregende Alternativen: Das Audioversum oder die Glockengießerei Grassmayr erwecken magische Welten zum Leben.

In gemütlichen drei Tagen kann man schon sehr viel erleben. Zum Beispiel die Geschichte der Hauptstadt der Alpen, etwa im Schloss Ambras mit dem wunderschönen Schlossgarten. Gleich in der Nähe befindet sich der Bergisel mit der imposanten Sprungschanze. Auch historisch hat der Bergisel viel zu bieten: beispielsweise das Tirol Panorama mit dem Kaiserjägermuseum und dem einzigartigen Riesenrundgemälde, dem größten Gemälde Tirols. Eindrucksvoll einladend ist die Hofburg mit ihren 400 Zimmern und prächtigen Prunkräumen. Auch die glanzvolle Hofkirche kann besichtigt werden. Am Nachmittag wird die Welt von oben erlebt. Verschiedene Bergbahnen ermöglichen entspannte Höhenflüge auf beeindruckende Gipfel mit unvergesslichen Pano■ ramamomenten und gemütlichen Wanderungen.

INNSBRUCK IN A NUTSHELL Very little time, but so much is on the sightseeing schedule? Don’t worry! You can also fall in love with Innsbruck in a short time. On this page there are a few guidelines as to how you can discover the city most effectively and yet stress-free. 24 hours

A full day is enough to experience Innsbruck’s most important hotspots: the day of adventure in Innsbruck starts best on Herzog-Friedrich-Strasse. Innsbruck’s centre is the ideal starting point for exciting experiences and at the same time is located directly at the Golden Roof, Innsbruck’s resplendent landmark. Framed by colourful house facades, oriels and arcades, the impressive Nordkette moun-

tain range – with its mountain peaks reaching over 2,000 metres above sea level – crowns the scenery! The first memories can already be recorded on photos here. A visitor can relax as they walk through the round arch next to the Hofburg (Imperial Palace), past the State Theatre and the music pavilion on the pond. The Hofgarten (Court Garden) with its giant chessboards and the many different plant and tree species invites visitors to leisurely enjoy refreshments, pleasurable walks and pleasant lingering – take your time! Just “around the corner” is the Imperial Palace with the Hofkirche (Court Church), one of the most impressive sights. If anyone would rather go shopping and stroll around, numerous shops are also lined up here in the middle of Maria-Theresien-Strasse, so that the Annasäule (St. Anne’s Column) can also be admired at the same time. To experience Innsbruck from above it is advisable to explore the Seegrube or Hafelekar comfortably with the Nordkette cable cars. But if time is running short there is also another opportunity to reach a lofty height in Innsbruck: the medieval Stadtturm (City Tower).

Anyone who has two days available can discover Innsbruck and the surrounding area on the second day. The Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens are the starting point. In the afternoon you can take a mountain excursion up to the majestic Patscherkofel. Innsbruck offers exciting alternatives if the fair weather takes a short break: the AUDIOVERSUM or the Grassmayr Bell Foundry will bring magical worlds to life.

72 hours

You can experience quite a bit in three leisurely days, such as learning the history of the Capital of the Alps by visiting Ambras Castle with the beautiful castle garden for example. Bergisel with the impressive ski jumping hill is located in the immediate vicinity. Bergisel also has much to offer in terms of history: for example, the Tirol Panorama with the Imperial Infantry Museum and the unique Giant Panoramic Painting, Tyrol’s largest painting. The Imperial Palace with its 400 rooms and magnificent staterooms is invitingly impressive. The illustrious Court Church can also be visited. In the afternoon the world can be experienced from above. Various mountain lifts enable relaxed high-altitude excursions to impressive summits with ■ unforgettable panorama moments and leisurely hikes.

Der Osterfrühling gilt als Sammelbegriff für zahlreiche österliche Attraktionen in Innsbruck und der Region. Dazu zählen unter anderem der Ostermarkt mit seinen 32 Marktständen, das Osterfestival, die Riesenostereier im Stadtgebiet oder auch das Ostergewinnspiel, das gemeinsam mit dem Handel organisiert wird. Das Zusammenspiel von vielen verschiedenen Akteuren macht den Osterfrühling zu einem stetig attraktiven Erlebnis, denn es gibt immer wieder Neues zu entdecken. Auch heuer lassen sich die Veranstalter wieder etwas Spannendes und Interessantes einfallen, allerdings möchten sie noch nicht zu viel verraten – man darf sich also vom Frühjahrszauber Tirols überraschen lassen!

“Easter Spring” is considered a collective term for numerous Easter attractions in Innsbruck and the region. Among other highlights, this includes the Easter Market with its 32 market stands, the Easter Festival, the giant Easter eggs in the city area or also the Easter contest organised together with local trade. The interaction of many different stakeholders makes Easter Spring a constantly attractive experience, because there is always something new to discover. 28.4.2018 Als Auftaktevent für die Laufsaison 2018 bietet das Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival erfahreneren Trailrunnern die Möglichkeit, sich optimal auf nachfolgende Trailruns vorzubereiten und Trailneueinsteigern diesen jungen Sport in einem alpin-urbanen Gelände auszuprobieren. Nach dem Startschuss inmitten der Innsbrucker Innenstadt führt die wunderschöne einzigartige Trailrundstrecke mit verschiedenen Einstiegsmöglichkeiten über Feld- und Wanderwege und liefert den Teilnehmern faszinierende Panoramaausblicke auf die Alpenmetropole. Die Teilnehmer messen sich von früh bis spät in fünf verschiedenen Distanzen.

As a kick-off event for the 2018 running season, the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival offers experienced trail runners the opportunity to optimally prepare for subsequent trail runs. The event also gives newcomers to trail running a chance to try this new sport in alpine-urban terrain. After the starting signal in the middle of downtown Innsbruck, the beautiful, unique trail circuit with various entry possibilities leads over paths and trails, and provides participants with fascinating views of the alpine metropolis. Participants compete from early to late in five different distances.

Neben beliebten Klassikern, wie dem Messeshopping und dem Themenschwerpunkt Haushalt zeigt sich die Tiroler Frühjahrsmesse mit dem „Tiroler Autosalon“ und der „Feel Good“ sehr gut strukturiert und facettenreich. Das Besucherinteresse an Neuheiten und Produkten ist auf der Tiroler Frühjahrsmesse groß und umfasst alle Themenschwerpunkte. Erwartet werden über 40.000 informations- und kauffreudige Besucher, die die Bevölkerung Tirols in den Altersgruppen, Einkommensschichten und Interessensgebieten bestens repräsentieren.

Visitor interest in innovations and products at the Tyrolean Spring Fair is considerable and encompasses all key topics. Over 40,000 visitors are expected. They are enthusiastic about information and shopping, and optimally represent Tyrol’s population in terms of age groups, levels of income and fields of interest.

Mithilfe der FlySwats, die größte mobile Leichtathletikanlage der Welt, werden sie auch heuer wieder für staunende Zuschauergesichter sorgen. Die Anlage ist eine Kombination für Stabhochsprung, Weitsprung/Dreisprung und Sprint mit einer maximalen Gesamtlänge von 83,30 Metern und einem Gewicht von 25 Tonnen (inklusive 12 Tonnen Sand). The FlySwat ermöglicht es, außerhalb der Stadien professionelle Wettkämpfe hautnah am Publikum durchzuführen. International athletes will be jumping far and vaulting high for the 14th time again in front of the Golden Roof. With the aid of the FlySwat, the world’s largest mobile athletics track, they will also ensure amazed spectator faces again this year. The track is a combination system for pole vault, long jump/triple jump and sprint with a maximum total length of 83.30 metres and a weight of 25 tonnes (including 12 tonnes of sand). The FlySwat makes it possible to stage professional competitions outside stadiums and very close to the public. For onlookers and the press it is as if they would be flying through the air with the participants. Visitors can once again look forward to many exciting moments. 13.–17.6.2018 Der Mountainbike-Megaevent liefert mehrere Tage lang Rennen, Sprünge, Musik und Rahmenprogramm. Es ist damit quasi das Air + Style des Radsports. Geburtsstätte des Bikefestivals ist Whistler in Kanada. Zwei weitere Austragungsorte gibt es in Neuseeland und Frankreich. Seit 2017 gehört auch die Bike City Innsbruck dazu. Die Bewerbe finden im Bikepark Innsbruck auf der Muttereralm. Crankworx ist das größte Gravity Mountainbike-Festival der Welt. Die verschiedenen Bewerbe verlangen den internationalen MountainbikeProfis alles ab. Wettkämpfe gibt’s etwa in Downhill, Slopestyle, Dual Speed & Style, Whip-Off und Pumptrack. Sponsoren und Aussteller präsentieren die neuesten Trends in Sachen Ausrüstung. Und: Spaß muss sein! Von Kids-Programm bis DJ-Sets: Hauptsache, alle amüsieren sich. The mountain bike mega event features several days of races, jumps, music and a supporting programme. As a result, it is the Air + Style event of cycling. The birthplace of the bike festival is Whistler in Canada. Two other venues are in New Zealand and France. The Bike City Innsbruck has also been part of the Crankworx tour since 2017. The competitions will be held at Bikepark Innsbruck on the Muttereralm. Crankworx is the world’s largest gravity mountain bike festival. The various competitions push international mountain bike pros to the limit. For instance, competitions are featured in events such as Downhill, Slopestyle, Dual Speed Style, Whip-Off and Pumptrack. Sponsors and exhibitors present the latest equipment trends. And fun is a factor: from a programme for kids to DJ sets! The main thing is that everyone enjoys themselves, and can sense the joy of pros as they show their ability set against a fantastic mountain backdrop. TOUR OF THE ALPS - ETAPPE 5 FINALE TOUR OF THE ALPS - STAGE 5 FINALE Die Tour of the Alps verspricht fünf Tage lang spannende Rennrad-Action von Arco bis Innsbruck. Die Teilnehmer überwinden insgesamt 714,3 Kilometer und 13.100 Höhenmeter mit zehn Bergwertungen. Das große Finale findet am 20. April in Innsbruck statt. Teile dieser letzten Etappe verlaufen sogar über Abschnitte der Strecken der Rennrad-WM 2018. Am letzten und entscheidenden Renntag fiebern die Teilnehmer dem Ziel in Innsbruck entgegen. Der Startschuss fällt im mittelalterlichen Rattenberg, der kleinsten Stadt Österreichs. Das Feld fährt dem Inntal entlang, wo sich kurze Anstiege und Abfahrten abwechseln. Die Route führt sie über das Alpbachtal ins Zillertal und wieder ins Inntal. Dabei absolvieren sie diverse Steigungen, zum Beispiel auf das Hochplateau Gnadenwald und zu den Dörfern südlich von Innsbruck. Das Rennen endet nach knapp 162 kräfteraubenden Kilometern direkt in der Stadt. Ideal auch für Zuschauer: In Innsbruck gibt es viel zu sehen und zu erleben, bevor die Fahrer das Ziel erreichen.

The Tour of the Alps promises five days of exciting racing bike action from Arco to Innsbruck. Participants will overcome a total of 714.3 kilometres and an altitude difference of 13,100 metres with ten mountain classifications. The grand finale takes place on 20 April in Innsbruck. Parts of this last stage even cross sections of the 2018 Road World Championships route. On the final and decisive race day, participants will feverishly await the finish in Innsbruck. The starting signal will be given in the medieval town of Rattenberg, the smallest town in Austria. The field will ride through the Inn Valley, where short climbs and descents alternate. The route leads them through the Alpbachtal valley into the Zillertal valley and back into the Inn Valley. While doing so, they will complete various ascents such as the Gnadenwald High Plateau and on the way to villages south of Innsbruck. The race ends directly in the city after 162 strength-sapping kilometres. There is much to see and experience in Innsbruck before the riders reach the finish.

echtzeitig zum 130-jährigen Jubiläum wurde dem Central im Jahr 2014 der Status immaterielles Kulturerbe um die Verdienste der Wiener Kaffeehauskultur anerkannt, und es wurde in das nationale Verzeichnis der österreichischen Unesco Kommission aufgenommen. Mit österreichischer Küche, feinen Mehlspeisen und frischem Gebäck verschönern die Küche und das Personal Gästen auf traditionelle Weise den Tag.

Regionalität als Leitgedanke

Das Central ist dem Grundsatz der Regionalität verpflichtet und als Tiroler Betrieb wird höchster Wert auf die Herkunft und die Qualität der Grundprodukte gelegt. Besonders in der Küche zeigt das Central in konstant hoher Qualität, dass die Verwendung heimischer Produkte vom Tiroler Wildbret bis zum feinsten Rindfleisch ein wesentliches Unterscheidungsmerkmal sein kann. Im Falstaff Restaurantguide 2016 und 2017 wurde das Central unter die besten Restaurants in Tirol gewählt und in den vergangenen Jahren mehrfach vom Agrarmarketing Tirol als „Bewusst Tirol“Betrieb ausgezeichnet.

Ein buntes Publikum

Das Café Central ist seit jeher ein Ort der Begegnung und der Toleranz, der jahresdurchgängig verlässliche Qualität bietet, mit dem ständigen Bemühen, in einem einzigartigen Ambiente seinen Kunden den Tag zu verschönern. Nahe der historischen Altstadt bildet das Central mit seiner unverwechselbaren Atmosphäre einen eleganten und zentralen Treffpunkt für Künstler und Literaten, Innsbrucker Bürger und auswärtige Gäste.

„Der Gast ist zum Verwöhnen da!“

Dieser Satz ist die Philosophie des Kaffeehauses und wird eins zu eins umgesetzt. 1884 wurde das bereits sieben Jahre zuvor gegründete Kaffeehaus in Central umbenannt. Seit damals ist es eine Institution in der Stadt, wurde sogar im Bildband „Die schönsten Cafés Europas“ von Adonis Malamos neben weltbekannten Häusern abgedruckt. Und auch kein anderes Café in ganz Westösterreich kann das Central mit einer glanzvolleren Geschichte übertreffen. Als es 1928 im typischen Alt-Wiener Kaffeehausstil eingerichtet wurde, staunten alle über den Prunk und die Pracht der Räumlichkeiten.

Aufwändige Stuckornamente, marmorierte Säulen, in den Nischen und Ecken unter den herrlichen Lüstern die legendären Thonet-Stühle und blank polierte Marmortische. Besucher, die zum Kaffeetrinken und zum Lesen der vielen ausliegenden Gazetten hierher kommen, können vom Einspänner bis hin zum Kapuziner, gepaart mit dem traditionellen Glas Wasser, das Flair der Wiener Kaffeehauskultur erleben. Auf zwei großzügigen Terrassen wird im Tiroler Sommer aber auch die südländische Sitte des Gehsteig-Cafés ausgiebig zelebriert. Auch im angeschlossenen traditionellen 4*Hotel wird dem Gast jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Ein Kaffee und ein „Ratscher“ im Café Central gehören ■ auf jeden Fall zum echten Innsbruck-Erlebnis dazu.

ust in time for the 130 year anniversary, Café Central’s status as intangible cultural heritage for the merits of Viennese coffeehouse culture was recognised in 2014 and incorporated in the national register of the Austrian UN ESCO Commission. The kitchen staff and café personnel make the day nicer for guests in a traditional manner with old Austrian cuisine, fine flour-based dishes and fresh pastry.

Regionality as central theme

Café Central is obligated to the principle of regionality, and as a Tyrolean enterprise the highest value is placed on the origin and quality of basic products. Particularly in terms of cuisine, the “Central” shows by means of consistent high quality that the use of local products from Tyrolean game to the finest meat can be a significant distinguishing feature. In the Falstaff Restaurant Guide 2016 and 2017, the “Central” was chosen among the best restaurants in Tyrol, and last year it was repeatedly distinguished by the organisation “Agricultural Marketing Tyrol” as an “Aware Tyrol” enterprise.

A diverse clientele

The “Central” has always been a site for encounter and tolerance that provides reliable quality throughout the year, with the constant effort to make the day nicer for its customers in a unique atmosphere. Located near the historic Old town, the Central with its unmistakable atmosphere is an elegant and central meeting place for artists and literati, Innsbruck citizens and foreign guests.

“The guest is here to be pampered!”

This sentence embodies the philosophy of the coffeehouse and is implemented one-to-one. The coffeehouse already established seven years beforehand was renamed “Central” in 1884. Since that time it has been an institution in the city, and was even printed alongside world-famous establishments in the illustrated book “Die schönsten Cafés Europas” (“The most beautiful cafés in Europe”) by Adonis Malamos. And no other café in all of Western Austria can outclass the Central with its illustrious history. When it was furnished in typical Old Viennese coffeehouse style in 1928, everyone marvelled at the pomp and splendour of the premises: elaborate stucco ornaments, marbled columns, the legendary Thonet chairs in the niches and corners under the magnificent chandeliers, and brightly polished marble tables. Visitors who come here to drink coffee and read the many gazettes on display can experience the flair of Viennese coffeehouse culture with coffee specialities ranging from “Einspänner” (strong black coffee with heavy cream) to “Kapuziner” (strong black coffee with a dollop of whipped cream) coupled with the traditional glass of water. But in a Tyrolean summer the Mediterranean tradition of sidewalk cafés is also extensively celebrated on two spacious terraces. The wish of every guest is also read from their eyes in the affiliated 4-star hotel. At any rate, a coffee ■ and a “Chat” at Café Central is part of a genuine Innsbruck experience.

The Ottoburg is a late Gothic residential tower at the entrance to the Old City and has been evidenced by documents since 1476. The later Emperor Maximilian I bestowed the tower upon Prince Rudolf von Anhalt in 1497. After his death in 1515, only civil owners followed.

INNSBRUCK IS AIMING HIGH THE CLIMBING CENTRE TAKES ROOT

Since 2017 all conceivable climbing dreams can be fulfilled on a total area of 3,900 m² in the new climbing centre. Right next door you can also enjoy skateboard and BMX thrills, and catch your breath during breaks in the cosy bistro and guest garden. The indoor climbing facility is considered globally unique. Now it has already paid off for the city.

Seit 2017 kann man sich im neuen Kletterzentrum auf insgesamt 3.900 qm alle nur erdenklichen Kletterträume erfüllen. Gleich nebenan außerdem noch am Skateboard und BMX ausleben sowie in den Pausen im gemütlichen Bistro und Gastgarten verschnaufen. Die Halle gilt als weltweit einzigartig, für die Stadt hat sie sich schon jetzt ausgezahlt.

Die Integration eines Bundesleistungszentrums (BLZ) für Wettkampfkletterer macht das Gesamtkonzept dieser Kletteranlage einzigartig. Hier können alle Ansprüche bezüglich Training und Events sowohl im Breiten- als auch Spitzensport erfüllt werden. Einer Fortsetzung der bisherigen Erfolgsgeschichte rund um das alte Kletterzentrum Tivoli steht somit nichts mehr im Wege. Als Szenetreff für Jung und Alt, für Anfänger, Hobbykletterer als auch Profis sieht sich das Kletterzentrum bereits jetzt. Das liegt unter anderem an der Vielseitigkeit der Architektur. Neben der großen Boulder- und Seilkletterhalle sieht man bereits bei der Anfahrt die Klettertürme im Freien. The integration of a federal training centre (Bundesleistungszentrum; BLZ) for competitive climbers makes the overall concept of this climbing facility unique. All requirements with regard to training and events in terms of mass sports and high-performance sports can be met here. As a result, nothing more stands in the way of a continuation of the previous success story pertaining to the old Tivoli climbing centre. The climbing centre already sees itself as a trendy meeting place for young and old, for beginners, amateur climbers as well as pros. Among other things, this is due to the versatility of the architecture. In addition to the large indoor bouldering and route climbing facility, the outdoor climbing towers can already be seen when approaching the climbing centre.
