best to support the channel community and on the other hand they do not commit to channel community that they will stop predatory prices floating. These are clear cut show case of double standards expressing their cunning mentality of taking advantage from both communities by giving them false commitments. The fact is, they will never pressurize OLS to control or eliminate the predatory prices, instead they will take advantage of the situation by giving them special models which can be sold and found only on OLS. “Isko Kehte hai, donno hathme laddu.......”

IDC’s Top 10 technology predictions for 2015
-Editorial Dear Fitagians, he agitation against OLS continues to some extent, but to a greater extent it has reached to a compromised status. Companies were given time till 14th of January to give their undertaking of controlling predatory prices, but none of them have given in clear cut writing about the same. They all have given in writing that they will take some or the other corrective actions, but none of these companies whom we had approached on the national level, have guts to state that, they will enforce control over OLS and regularize prevailing predatory prices promoted by OLS by all means. s the year comes to a close, it’s the season of analyst firms looking ahead at the year to come in technology. Not to be confused with Gartner’s Top 10 strategic technology trends for 2015, market intelligence firm IDC has released its own future forecast: “IDC WORLDWIDE Predictions 2015: Accelerating Innovation on the 3rd Platform.” The “3rd Platform” IDC is referring to, which it coined back in 2007, is the concept of the next generation of software founded on cloud computing,
Big Data, mobile devices and social media. (Gartner’s “Nexus of Forces” is a similar concept.) The growth of the “3rd Platform” in all phases of the information and communications technology (ICT) market is a major theme of the forecast, but 10 of IDC’s predictions in particular stand out, spanning growth in mobile, cloud, Big Data, the Internet of Things and more.
1. New technology will take over the market: According to
IDC’s predict i o n s , WORLDWIDE ICT spending will grow 3.8% in 2015 to more than US$3.8 trillion. Nearly all of this spending growth will be fo-
cused on 3rd Platform technologies, while 2nd Platform technologies (PCs) will continue to see declining spending. Contined on page-2
