Ages 6–14 POPPY WORKSHOP & CENOTAPH TOUR 10:30–11:45 am Saturday, Nov 5, 2022 $5 Introduce your little one to the museum through hands-on exploration and artifact handling, stories, songs, and a caregiver-assisted craft. Each session offers flexibility for young children to engage in the museum world through a variety of sensory and play experiences.
Let your child discover the wonders of the museum through creative explorative activities with stories, songs, and crafts. Your child should be comfortable participating independently.
Join the KMA on the third Saturday of the month for creative activities for the whole family to enjoy. There is a different theme each month!
KAMLOOPS MUSEUM AND ARCHIVES
Join us as we learn about the significance of the poppy and life in Kamloops during the World Wars. We will meet at the Memorial Hill Park Cenotaph for a mini Cenotaph Tour then visit the Kamloops Museum to make poppy art.

Join the KMA and the Thompson-Nicola Regional Library for a book club with a historic twist. We will explore works of historical fiction and non-fiction as well as a variety of historical topics based on monthly themes.

Join the KMA’s Archivist and the Kamloops Family History Society to learn about exploring your family history, genealogical research, and the treasures you can discover in the Archives. This workshop will explore best research practices with a grounding in archival materials from the KMA.
Join the KMA at the Kamloops Cenotaph in Memorial Hill Park to explore the lives and experiences of Canadian soldiers as we prepare for Remembrance Day this year.
