Tables (Plywood)

A range of differently cut plywood, tables was explored. Different the structures and aesthetics produced by various forms and cut outs. Also if manufactured which designs would waste material and add to the manufacturing cost. Lipping/edge banding on the inner side cannot be done.

Table (Metal+ply legs)

Combination of plywood and metal was explored in tables. This integration of materials provides a lot of variations. Every structure having its own identity and form. Each of these variations were sub divided and explored further.

Tables (Metal legs)

Square metal pipe as legs was explored and plywood as table top. Exploring legs with different alignments and angles brought different meaning and form language.The selected table was further explored.

A range of furniture was explored with metal legs and plywood table top. Each exploration had its own identity and form.

Double attached

A range of classroom benches was explored. In the concept taken forward the seat becomes the storage for the student seating on it. The developed concept has the writing surface for the student sitting behind it.

A range of furniture was explored with metal legs and plywood table top. The

Flap chair

A variety of concepts and structures were developed using plywood and metal. The concept taken forward supports the flap which prevents it from getting lose because of regular use.
