As a recap of the summer activities for Kansas Youth Soccer, there were approximately 130 teams that participated in the State Tournaments from May 27 to June 3, 2014 at the Overland Park Soccer Complex.

Dynamos would end up advancing to the Semi-finals of Nationals before being eliminated. OPSC Monaco Boys U13 won the Region II Presidents Cup here in Overland Park to represent Kansas at the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup in South Carolina. Coaching Education Updates USSF National Coaching Courses US Soccer Coaching Education dictates the offerings and course schedules for all National “A,” “B,” and “C” courses. CLICK HERE for USSF “A” License

Kansas Youth Soccer Coaching Courses No Waivers allowed to participate in the Natioanl “D” License. Pre-requisite is successful completion of the National “E” License and six-month waiting period of active coaching.

Olympic Development Program (ODP) Kansas Youth Soccer’s Olympic Development Program and players completed a successful summer of Region II ODP Showcase Tournaments and Holdover Camps. Congratulations to the following Kansas ODP players named to the Region II ODP Pools/ Holdover Camps this past July: Boys 1997 - Peyton Brown (SBV), Emery May (Wichita Rush), Cole McLagan (SBV), Trevor Hill (SBV) Boys 1998 - Harris DeWoskin (SBV), Will Laufer (SBV), Jay Stephenson (SBV) Girls 1997 - Parker Roberts (KC Metro Dynamos), Jamie Kutey (KC Metro Dynamos), Dorian Bailey (SBV) Girls 1998 - Hannah Miller (KC United Rangers) Girls 2000 - Felicia Know (KC Fusion), Layne Thompson (SBV), Maycee Bell (Wichita Warriors) Girls 2001 - Dilary Heredia (Wichita Rush), Caroline Coleman (KC Legends), Emma Yackley (Puma FC) 2014-15 Kansas ODP Tryouts have been completed in four different locations - OP, Manhattan, Wichita, and Dodge City throughout this summer in July and August.
