In connection with the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit, the Philippine administration prepared for the event which will transpire on November 10 to 14, 2017 at Metro Manila and Clark, Pampanga, simultaneously. Founded in 1967, ASEAN’s primary aim is to promote economic growth, social progress and cultural development in the Southeast Asian region through multilateral cooperation.
Last October, the ASEAN senior foreign officials gathered at the Philippine International Convention Center and discussed the upcoming ASEAN Summit 2017. During the said conference, they deliberated and finalized the documents which will be needed for the East Asian Summit (EAS) and ASEAN Plus Three (APT).
