KÜMEI KIRSCHMANN About the artist Kümei Kirschmann, a photographer from Argentina, but she also feels himself like a “Berliner". She loves analog photography, solargraphy and to experiment with films and chemicals. Also likes to travel and to feel that she belong, at least a bit, to different places.

About the work Spreepark, the old East German amusement park flanked by the River Spree, abandoned on the edge of Berlin’s Treptower Park. After opening as the VEB Kulturpark Plänterwald for the GDR’s 20th birthday on October 4, 1969, it was hugely popular. It was the only constant entertainment park in the GDR, and the only such park in either East or West Berlin. The fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 marked the beginning of the end for the Kulturpark.

BELEN MAJDALANI About the artist BelĂŠn Majdalani (Argentina) focuses on spontaneity, cotidianity and in a reflective observation of ordinary situations to reflect them in a curious way. With visual analogies, she unifies worlds and situations that are desvinculated and disintegrated; showing that there exist similarities between what we think is different.

About the work A conceptual and visual analogy as a meeting point between two border limits: the wall as a formal boundary and the sky as a symbolic boundary. Both connoting freedom, life, and death; It shows us that what divides also unites or can be united. The photographs were taken at the Berlin Wall and the sky that surrounds it.

CLO CATALAN About the artist Clo Catalan studied photography in Santiago de Chile. It belongs to the collective Muralojo who carry out interventions in the streets by attaching photographs and poetry, Fotoesia project, currently makes collective exhibitions in different festivals in Berlin since 2016.

About the work Those photographs show what used to be Berlin, the pain that does not go away, those tattoos that will always remind you of what happened here, but that have undoubtedly been able to carry and transform it, turning it into the European capital where the love for the art is alive.

BRIS CORZO About the artist Briseida Corzo is an architect, researcher, and an amateur black and white photographer. Her work is mainly street and landscape photography, but she has a special interest in documentary photography, that she uses to enrich her research projects on the right to housing and the right to the city in Mexico, documenting the communities she works with. About the work An exterior wall of the Marie Elisabeth LĂźders House that follows the original course of the berliner Wall. Is a memorial site: the Parliament of Trees Against Violence and War, where the artist and environmental activist Ben Wagin created it on the former border strip of the Berlin Wall in 1990. A total of 58 authentic parts of the Wall were used and given an artistic treatment. The granite slabs list the names of the 258 victims of the Wall. The number of those who died at the internal German border is listed for each year from the construction of the Wall until its fall.

LUCAS DIMA About the artist In my head there are two worlds, one is rational, mathematics, pragmatic, and the other is more irrational, although also mathematics, but with expressions of art and design. During the following years, I’ve realized that I am both. I had projects from the art world, and other projects from the rational world, and all of them always very interesting. Obviously the combination of both worlds fills me completely. I can do software that is art. I can do computer generated characters with some artificial intelligence, and that can be art too, but also there is technic and rational stuff. The fact of discovering this is and combining both worlds is very rewarding.

About the work There is beauty everywhere. Every day we have a bunch of opportunities to capture it. Every day I make a photo. Every day I am busy doing something else. This daily experiment I am making is just a reminder to do not forget that there is beauty everywhere. @LUCASDIMA

CREMADECREMA About the artist Born and raised in Argentina, 27-year-old artist Mora Kirchner has always claimed to be an art addict and obsessed with the art world. Specialized in the intervention of digital photography, her most used techniques are digital collage and provoked glitch. Her latest works revolve around an axis both disturbing and captivating; the provocation made portrait. Self-portraits as the most honest way of showing oneself in front of a camera.

About the work “I moved to Berlin 9 months ago, without having come to the city before. I came blindly, but from the first day I felt belonging, I felt at home, in Berlin I found myself. Berlin is my home, it's my love, Berlin is me

TIARE MALDONADO HUCKE About the artist Engineer and analog photographer living in Berlin. Her work has been centered in the world of the surrealism and psychoanalysis crossed with photographic technics.

About the work Born from the experience of its author based in Berlin, this photographic project brings together the daily life with an element of persistence: the GINGER. Berlin, a destination chosen by miles of people as a place to start from scratch also a city synonymous with paradox, because it synthesizes in itself the idea of the root, like ginger, by containing the history of Europe added to the numerous creeds and cultures currently coexisting. The presence of all these components, consequently, emphasizes a permanent search for identity among its inhabitants, forming an epicenter that is increasingly less defined and at the same time chaotic but potentially opens up for the integration and diversity.
