DEPARTMENT OF AEROSPACE ENGINEERING FEEDBACK PROCESS The Curriculum design process enables members of the faculty to have professional conversations with the peers about the subjects intended to be taught and to organize the instructional units in order to achieve the educational goals. The process flow followed for designing / modification of curriculum based on the feedback from various stakeholders and its approval is shown below.


The Curriculum Development Cell (CDC) formulates the vision and mission for the Department of Aerospace Engineering in line with the vision and mission of Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.

The CDC also formulates the Program Educational Objectives, Program Outcomes and the Program Specific Outcomes.

The curriculum is framed based on the POs and PEOs and taking into consideration the recommendation of AICTE, other statutory bodies and the inputs from stakeholders like Alumni, Employers, Parents and students.

The CDC ensures that the courses satisfy the departmental Program Outcomes (PO) & Program Specific Outcomes (PSO).

The CDC also ensures that the curriculum is on par with top national and international universities and meets the requirements of industries.

The curriculum and the syllabi prepared by the CDC is reviewed by the Board of Studies, Standing Committee and Academic Council and suggestions are incorporated.

The finalized syllabus is approved by the Board of Management (BoM).

Feedback from the stakeholders through structured formats provide data for continuous improvement which is incorporated during the curriculum revision.
