Entry #2 My article is called Amazon Leaps Into High end of the Fashion Pool. Amazon wants to work with top brands instead of against them and sell their product on their website. They have always sold clothing but now they have been focused on signing on hundreds of contemporary and high-‐end brand. I completely support amazon. Also, I have noticed they have certain designers items on their website selling them for the same price and through that designers website. This is relevant to the fashion industry because amazon is connecting with multiple designers and selling their stuff, marketing their product. People trust amazon and think that it’s a better deal if they buy from their website instead of the designers. Basically amazon is expanding and designers are offering their product to a broader target market.
