WGSN Global Trends December 4, 2012 Entry #8 In Paris, Tokyo, and Milan I noticed a trend that I like to call the preppy look. This style consists of letterman jackets and the tom boy look wearing boxy clothing. This is a trend that I definitely see in stores already, but I do not think it has been accepted yet. Because knitwear is so popular I think that wearing sweaters over button downs, having the collars show will become more popular as people experiment with it. It has been in stores and I probably will again this spring. It was a trend all over WGSN and occasionally I will see it on the street too. This is a trend that can work well in both spring and fall collections. I think that as more people see this trend they will start to embrace it.
