School Holiday Events

Manga Drawing: Hero vs Monster

Tuesday 27th July, 11.30am - 12.30pm

Create your own unique manga characters with artist David Lovegrove. Be inspired by David's double-handed dream scribble approach, then create your own hero manga and monster character for them to befriend or battle. Ages 12 - 17.

Robot Music

Tuesday 27th July, 3pm - 4pm

Make a robot play a song! Learn how to program a Dash robot to play a xylophone. Ages 6 - 9.

Meet a Baby Dino!

Monday 3rd July, 10am - 10.30am & 11am - 11.30am

Meet a baby T-Rex - don't worry, he's with a keeper! Find out more about these amazing reptiles, play dino games and discover dino eggs with Dino Encounters. Ages 5 - 9.

Write a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' Story

Wednesday 5th July, 10.30am - 11.30am

Drop in to discover how easy it is to make your own singlecolour decal sticker with our Cricut machines. Ages 12-17. No bookings required.

NEW! Minecraft Club

Every Tuesday, 3.30pm - 5pm

Complete challenges, learn new skills and connect with other Crafters on our Library server. Book a spot to play from home using your own bedrock or Java account or come and use library computers and accounts. Beginner to advanced players. Ages 6-17.

NEW! Boardgame Club

4th Friday of the month, 4pm - 5pm

Grab your friends after school for some friendly competition with our board games and card games. All ages welcome. No bookings required.

Bridge Club

2nd & 4th Monday of the month, 10am - 11.30am

Do you enjoy card games, but find solitaire is getting dull and lonely? Join our monthly adult Bridge Club to learn contract bridge, meet new people and enjoy a chat in a comfortable, stress-free environment. The Albany Creek club meets on the 2nd Monday and 4th of the month from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, excluding public holidays. No bookings required.

Craft Group

2nd & 4th Monday of the month, 10am - noon

Join other adult crafters and share your tips and tricks, solve your craft problems and chat while indulging in your craft activity. BYO project, supplies, and sense of fun. Sessions are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. Excluding public holidays.
