Personal Profile A strong arts and design professional with a Master of Arts (MA) in Multimedia Journalism from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a (BA) Hons in Fashion Communication and Promotion. Excellent written and communication skills with a broad range of experience in the fashion and textile industry, including editorial content, proofreading, copywriting, and public relations. First published content for the arts and fashion sections of T’Hud, a university magazine, before creating two new publications, Eden and Fashion Vanguard. Publication: Rowan Knitting and Crochet Magazine Number 62 Date: Autumn Winter 2017 Title: ‘Travel Journal, Kinship Story’ Word Count: 1,155 This feature article documents the photoshoot for Rowan’s ‘Kinship’ story, 22 knitwear designs for women photographed in Haworth, Yorkshire, home of the famous literary sisters, the Brontës. The history of these fascinating sisters is explored, revealing why it was the perfect spot for this particular Rowan story.

Publication: Fashion Vanguard issue one Date: Summer 2015 This publication was created during the final year of my undergraduate fashion course. It is a printed mock supplement for The Guardian newspaper, focused on the themes of fashion, women and politics. 22 articles were sourced, researched and written for the print publication. Publication: Fashion Vanguard issue one Date: Summer 2015 Title: ‘Compassionate Fashion’ Word Count: 837 ‘Compassionate Fashion’ encompasses much of what Fashion Vanguard is about - fashion, women and the politics of fashion. It gives an insight into how fast fashion predominantly affects women, working in poor envrionments, and how the consumer can help combat this. Available to view online
