Autumn Term 2

Welcome back! I hope you all had a great half term break and are now ready for a busy term ahead! It was fantastic to see so many of you dressed up for Halloween on Monday, assembly was seriously spooky!

Our new MUGA is in place in the playground and we have developed a clear rota so that all classes get a chance to take part in activities during break times, hopefully it will have also improved access into and out of the playground. Please could all parents and carers support us in ensuring no children climb on the MUGA before or after school. We have spoken to the children and made it clear that if they are found climbing they will be moved straight to red.

Sponsored Penalty Shoot Out! Next Thursday we will be taking part in a sponsored penalty shoot out to raise funds for the school. The money raised wil be used to subsidise school trips and after school clubs.

Uniform There have been a number of concerns raised by parents regarding missing uniform. If belongings are found they are always placed in the lost property box. All staff try really hard to encourage children to look after their belongs by either putting them in their drawer or on their peg. Could all parents/carers ensure that names are put in all items of clothing and if the wrong jumper/cardigan etc is taken home by mistake that it is

Staying Safe Many of you will be enjoying Bonfire Night on Saturday and either holding your own events or going to organised displays. I want you all back in school in one piece on Monday so please stay safe and remember the Firework Code.

In staff meeting this week staff worked together to focus on feedback and marking.

We have now got a facebook page that we are using to keep you as up to date as possible—please take a look!

Lisa and Miss Ellison continue to work hard on their Open University Courses.

Miss Dring went on the Big Maths Course
