Hey Aqua Apes! I can't believe how much we have grown as a division within these few months. We are achieving so many of our goals. Just remember to do service! It's so important to get out and do APEtastic service before DCON. Whether it be serving at your local food bank or cleaning the local park. Hope to hear about all your GOLDEN experiences! Aloha Aqua Apes! Thank you for such an unforgettable Fall Rally North! It was my second, and my last FRN, and I couldn’t be more proud of all of you! We raised a total of $1598, which was extremely close to our goal for every club to raise $200, totaling $1800! BE PROUD OF YOURSELVES APES. This is a huge accomplishment for us! Thank you for your continued efforts for making this world a better place. For the upcoming month of November, please remember. SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE. Let’s start working on the Service Hour goal of 1,000 hours for every club! Key Club is an organization dedicated to service first, so remember to build your home, schools, and communities. Lots of food banks will be in need of Key Clubbers, as well as shelters since Thanksgiving is coming up, so be sure to check out those locations! Remember, if you ever have any questions, concerns, or just need someone to talk to, I am always here for you, whether you need me as a Lieutenant Governor, or as a friend. Feel free to contact me at any time, I love hearing from you all! Keep Calm, and Ape On! Going Bananas for Service, Jeremy Jimenez Division 34 North Lieutenant Governor

For the month of November, email me/ message one thing that you liked about Fall Rally North, or one thing you learned at Fall Rally North! It doesn’t haven’t to be related to the actual rally, but could be anything that happened during your Fall Rally North experience!

My experience at Stars of Service: Regions 9-15-17 Training Conference 2013 was one to remember. It was my first and last, and I am happy that I was able to go. From the "How Do You Feel?" cheer to group time, majority of it was full of laughter and smiles! I loved my group because we all stuck together even though some of us may not have known each other that well. It’s really hard to get to know so many people in so little time. I'm just glad because I got to meet more people from other schools rather than my own. "Drama" was amazing! The round robin workshops and keynote sessions were very informative, and they helped me learn a lot more about PTP and Project Eliminate. I also got some good tips about public speaking and time management. As a whole, it was cool to actually see the "How Do You Feel" cheer put into action by so many people. This event was truly the event that showed me what Key Club is all about, and it has made me more excited for Fall Rally North! -Christian Poon, SSFKC

OCTOBER DCM RECAP From the morning and throughout the early afternoon, Circle K hosted Key to College, which described different aspects of college life and Circle K in college. Some workshops included discussions about healthy living, networking, and how to be successful in college. The October DCM was held during lunch and after Key to College. This DCM was used to prepare spirit gear for the upcoming Fall Rally North. Examples of the spirit gear made were tutus and parachute cord bracelets. Through the DCM, members got

CLUB

SUMMARIES South San Francisco Key Club has been focusing on participation and service. We sent 13 people to attend Regions 9-15-17 Training Conference, and we are now sending 15 people to Fall Rally North! We have been sending at least 4 people to DCMs lately, and we try to be as involved as we can be. For service, we have been providing our members with multiple volunteer opportunities every Saturday. The most we had in a weekend was 4 service projects! We want to ensure that our members always have opportunities to serve our community. After Fall Rally North, we will be focusing more on service and fundraising. We are having our first fundraiser on October 27th, and plan to have an Open Mic in December and Awake-A-Thon in January. SSFKC has achieved many of our goals, and we will continue striving!

This month, George Washington Key Club has strengthened our relations with our community! We had our first community based event with our new members. We hosted a beach clean up where our club worked really hard as well as bonded. We are still continuing to help out at the Hidden Garden Steps, which is a project that our club has been affiliated with for the past 3 years. We are going to begin our joint projects with our neighborhood center very soon by helping out at their family runs and art activities on the weekends. We also are beginning to plan our fundraising for DCON! We plan to work with our school even more at upcoming events for next year’s potential students. We also hope to become closer with the SF Kiwanis at an upcoming run.

This past month has been eventful for Lowell Key Club. The last two events of September were Lowell Cross Country Invitational and Waves to Wine. Every year Lowell Key Club helps host this race. In this event, our members helped out at the finish line. Members took off the runner’s tracking chips and sorted them. A week later, we volunteered at Waves to Wine, where we helped with registrations and served breakfast for the participants. October has started off slowly. We were scheduled to volunteer at a sand castle building contest but it was postponed due to the government shut down. Instead we had members help out with the class of 2015’s car wash. In better news our LTG visited! Members were very happy to meet him.
