Letter from Your Lieutenant Governor

Aloha Aqua Apes! My name is Kristen Carpio, and I am so honored to serve you all this year as your Lieutenant Governor! I am currently a Junior at Notre Dame High School, and served last term as their club President. I also served the division the past two terms as an Executive Assistant, so I’m excited to serve in a new role this year. I want to thank you all for continuing to be passionate about our organization despite schools closing. I hope that your club can find ways to meet online through Zoom or Google Hangouts in order to stay connected. This is so important because even though we are physically distancing from each other, we must remain socially connected. I look forward to seeing you all at the next online event!

Reaching for the stars of service,

Kristen Carpio Page 1

Articles and Visuals | April 2020

FFCC Food Packaging Drive The FFCC food Packaging was a great and wonderful opportunity to provide for those in need and who really need it. We were able to pack in a sealed bag; Vitamins dried vegetables, lentils, and rice. Though it seemed like not much for us, the amount of food that we as key clubbers helped prepare/packed would help with life and death for the less fortunate. The feeling of doing such packaging was great. The more “fun portion” while volunteering was the bulk job in which I carried bags of lentils, rice, vegetables, and vitamins in order to resupply. This made sure that no time was “wasted” and the packaging could reign on. Even though the lifting and running around made my legs extremely dead. Getting to the 50k meal packaged mark brought me genuine joy! -Luis Solidum, Jefferson High School

I had a great time doing my last service event as our divisions LTG -Emmanuel Flores, Jefferson High School
