Aloha Aqua Apes, My name is Shu Yang and I will be serving Division 34 North as your Lieutenant Governor for the 2015-2016 term. I am currently a junior at Aragon High School in San Mateo, California. Aside from service and Key Club, my other passions include dancing, going on adventures, trying new foods, and losing myself in a book. I have previously served as a club president and division executive assistant in Division 34 North. I am truly ecstatic and blessed to be able to continue to serve the APEtastic members of Division 34 North. I would like to take this time to welcome you all to the new term. Whether you are a returning or new member, the 2015-2016 will be an unforgettable, special, and possibly tumultuous year for you. I hope you will all answer the call for service frequently throughout the term as well as support the ohana around you when challenges come up.

Thank you for putting faith in Key Club International, the California Nevada Hawaii District, and Division 34 North. I am looking forward to hearing from and seeing all of your BEE-autiful faces soon. As you embark on a new Key Club journey this term remember to continuously set goals, overcome, and thank. Do not forget to give thanks to the ohana you’ve made, the advisers who are there at our events, and your family for trying to understand the unique world of Key Club along with the silly acronyms. Throughout this term please never hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. I am here to support and serve you all as your Lieutenant Governor but first and foremost a friend. Until next time, keep calm and APE on. APE cracy for service, Lieutenant Governor Greetings

Introducing Your Ape Presidents During the Key Club year, you will get to know many wonderful individuals who are extremely dedicated to Key Club. Here are some biographies on a few outstanding individuals who have stepped up to the challenge to serve their home clubs.

ARAGON ~ Kelvin Yang Aloha Division 34 North! My name is Kelvin Yang and I'm serving Aragon Key Club as their president for the 2015-2016 term. I am currently a sophomore and joined Key Club my freshman year. I went to some events as a freshman, but my true Key Club moment happened at RTC 2014. It truly brought me to see what Key Club is all about. On a separate note, I love to read, eat, and sleep. I'm always open to meet-

MILLS~ Ffion Sun Hi I'm Fion Sun and I'm currently a sophomore from Mills High School. I love to listen to music and hang out with friends. Besides that, I also love to help out the community. In my free time, I enjoy taking pictures with my camera being super artsy fartsy. Go aqua apes!

LOWELL~ Thiện Văn Trần ALOHA AQUA APES!!! My name is Thien Tran and I'm the president of Lowell Key Club. I joined my school's Key Club in the fall of my sophomore year and I immediately grew a passion for volunteering as well as the social aspect that is central to the club. This new term is incredibly exciting for me because I have loads of ideas that I'm hoping to implement this year with the help of my board for my club. It's going to BEE great! peace out

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO~ CrystalWong My name is Crystal Wong and I am the South San Francisco Key Club president for the 2015-2016 term. I am a sophomore this year and an incoming junior next year. I fell in love with Key Club freshmen year of high school and was appointed as vice president. I have been inspired by others to become a leader for our school's club. I hope to serve an APEtastic term with all of you!

Iris Hung ~ Mills

I couldn't have asked for a better first and last DCON. Even though we arrived late during the first general session, I had blast spending the weekend with all my closest Key Club friends. It was a good way in closing my four years as a Key Club member and officer. After spending four years in Key Club, I learned a lot from the seminars and I was glad to learn new things from some of the workshops there. My favorite part of DCON was the general sessions because there was so much energy. Another fun event held at DCON was the Governor's Ball, where the whole dance nearly turned into a rave. I had never felt so much Division pride as when Mary Kim was announced as the District Treasurer at the last general session. I'm going to miss Division 34 North so much and I could not be more proud of what this Division has accomplished in the past four

years. Division 34 North can only go up from here!

Kelvin Yang ~ Aragon DCON was truly an amazing and unique experience for me! Arriving there, I had absolutely no idea what to expect. The sheer number of Key Clubbers and their shared enthusiasm for Key Club completely blew me away! I met so many new people and bonded with other Key Clubbers within our own division. DCON was magical and opened my eyes to Key Club and I can't wait to go back next year!

Shayna Patel ~ Carlmont I thought DCON was a really fun experience and would recommend all members of Key Club to go, because you learn a lot of interesting things about many different topics some not even related to Key Club, you meet a lot of new people. It's a really fun atmosphere! Here's a picture of us stuffing PTP dolls at DCON. The dolls are being donated to children who are hospitalized, the dolls are used by doctors to show how a surgery is done by using the doll as an example.

Key-ster Eggs Crystal Wong ~ South San Francisco For my clubs April service project, we planted Key-ster Eggs all over the school containing a Hershey's Kiss and a little slip of paper with a message. Our goal was to make other people's days. After all, Spring Break did just end. These messages ranged from punny jokes that will crack an easter egg up to a simple have a good day. It felt so good to see students around our school open up the eggs and smile. For our clubs first service project, I felt very proud that it was a success!

Brandon Lee ~ Brandon Lee I recently attended the April DCM which was held at Child Safety Day in San Carlos. Child Safety Day has always been one of my favorite events. I have fond memories f years past and this was the third year I was able to help out. Being able to work with children has always been fun for me and seeing their smiles as they go through the bike course is definitely rewarding. I recommend everyone try to attend this great event next year!

Matthew Kawakami ~ Hillsdale On April 18th there was a San Mateo Downtown cleanup. I participated in a group that painted the poles for parking that were pealing. It was a really great experience and I met a lot of very interesting people. After a couple hours of working we ate lunch and got to meet new people. It was really amazing to give back to the community, especially an area that I use a lot.

Thank you to Aragon, Hillsdale, San Mateo, and South San Francisco for coming!

Special Games is an annual event hosted by Los Altos Kiwanis that brings clubs from Division 12 and Diviision 34 together. This also includes all the Student Leadership Programs they sponsor: circle K, Key Club, and builder’s Clubs. This year at De Anza College, there were over 900 athletes and over 50 Divison 34 North members. Thank you for your service!

Janet Chen ~ San Mateo The special games was a great place to meet fellow key clubbers as well as catch up with the old. It was a great reminder as to why we all joined key club in the first place- to serve and give back to the community. The experience was also rewarding; the athletes were all incredibly sweet and touched my heart. Their perseverance and good attitude really inspired me and my fellow key clubbers
