Lieutenant Governor Greetings
A Message from
“
Lieutenant Governor, Mary Kim
Aloha Aqua Apes!
I would like to thank every single one of you who attended Fall Rally North! Remember October 18th, 2014 the day of FRN 2014 – The day we donated over $1,500 to PTP; the day we bought a District Executive for the very first time; and the day we showed CNH how to celebrate AQUA APE STYLE. BEE proud of yourselves! November is finally here, and December will quickly be approaching! Not only does this mean that this term is quickly coming to an end, but it also means countless SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE opportunities for you all! There will be food banks, canned food drives, shelters, and more for you to build YOUR home, school and community to BEE a better place. Please make sure to reach out to those locations! Each year, each event – Our Aqua Ape Ohana continues to grow, and I cannot express how proud I am to serve such amazing members. I LOVE getting questions, being tagged in pictures with you all, and simply seeing all your lovely faces once a month at our DCMs. It truly warms my heart, and reminds me why I ran to be Lt. Governor in the first place. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, comments or concerns. I am not only here for you all as a Lt. Governor, but also as your friend. I hope to see YOU all soon at the November DCM. Keep Calm, and APE ON!
Going Bananas with Service,
Mary Kim Delemos Division 34 North Lieutenant Governor

October Division Council Meeting
“
The October DCM was all about spirit gear making and cheers. It was really nice to see our division work together and help each other out with spirit gear making. Also, the new cheers are amazing! I am really thankful to the people who worked really hard on preparing the materials and cheers for this DCM.

Fall Rally North
I had a great time at FRN, especially because I had the chance to meet so many new people. Although I only remember like seven names , I still felt good knowing that I was able to bond with so many people, and for once in a really long time, I feel a really strong sense of belonging because of FRN. - Nick Tong, Aragon

FRN was a great experience the second time around and great for the new members as well. New members are excited and super spirited to be a part of key club and are ready to serve. It was fun to meet everyone from the different divisions in their spirit gear and spirit battle them. We all know D34N brought the most spirit.

Fall Rally North
“
By 10AM, we began to move into Chabot Stadium. And not long after the rally began, we had a problem. I was hyped. I was ready. I was full of Ape spirit, and so were the rest of the Apes. So what was missing? Half the division. Because of out-of-world fufu-type complications, about half of our fellow Apes were stuck at the gate without a way to enter. We would have to push through the rally with only what we had available. Throughout the rally, we cheered and yelled and scream and made wild body gestures; we gave 110% effort. However, we were outnumbered by the Robots to the right and the Devils in front of us. I downed my water bottle and 4 of my fellow Apes’ water bottles. My voice cracked more times in that rally than ever before in my 15 years and 11 months on earth. The struggle was real. Near the end of the rally, the Apes at the gate were finally let through and we rejoiced. Now with our full army of Apes, we were ready; but the rally had ended. - Thien Tran, Lowell

Fall Rally North
It was an amazing experience, one of a kind. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but when I got there I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of fellow Key Clubbers. Even though I was not fond of rollercoasters, I was still able to make the day memorable by meeting new people from all diffferent divisions, fighting in spirit battles, and hugging random Key Clubs because who doesn’t like hugs? I met a lot of the people than I previously met at RTC, but I also met a lot of of old friends who were not in our division. It was a pleasant surprise meeting them at Fall Rally North, and made the day just that much more special. - Maximilan Chen, San Mateo
