This entry level position will review, revise and draft a broad range of contracts including, but not limited to confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, purchase and pricing agreements, and sales agreements. Present contract issues and concerns to internal business team and customer/vendors to resolve issues to the mutual satisfaction of both parties within legal requirements. Review, revise and draft other legal documents and correspondence as needed. Facilitate signature process for various legal agreements and other contracts and documents as needed and distributing copies of signed documents to internal clients and to the contract database. Assists with tracking of internal requests for contract review and drafting. This will also include creating a new matter file or confirming file exists. Stay up to date on federal, state, and local legal requirements in assigned areas by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Conduct legal research as needed. Position requires a Juris Doctor and experience in contract review and negotiation a plus. Minimum requirements include excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid analytical skills, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills, research proficiency and exposure to excel and power point. Capable of working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment. Ability to handle multiple priorities within tight timeframes. Ability to deal with internal clients and confidential and proprietary information.

A thorough knowledge of all State and Federal Drinking Water Regulations and strong written and oral communication is required. Applicant must possess a NH Grade III treatment license or the ability to obtain one within a year. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 6 years of progressively responsible experience including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
