Summary of Positions

There are three positions available at the University of New Hampshire’s Agricultural Experiment Station farms: (1) manager of the Organic Dairy Research Farm, (2) lead farm worker position at the UNH Equine Complex, and (3) lead farm worker to assist across all seven UNH research farm facilities. The Manager position will be responsible for overall management responsibilities at the Organic Dairy Research Farm to ensure success of the farm’s employees, animal and facility operations, research projects, and educational programming. The equine complex lead farm worker will ensure effective daily animal care, maintenance of facilities and grounds, and supervisory duties during the weekends. The broader lead farm worker will be involved with tasks across all farm facilities to ensure successful animal care, field and crop operations, facility and farm machinery maintenance, and green-house research operations. All three positions are critical to ensuring high quality of agricultural research, teaching, and outreach at the state’s flagship university.
