TOWN ADMINISTRATOR
Sutton, New Hampshire (pop. 2008) is seeking an individual with demonstrated organizational, administrative and management skills to serve as its next Town Administrator. Founded in 1784, Sutton is located 25 miles northwest of Concord. Sutton encompasses an area of 36 square miles with over 17,000 acres of predominantly forested open space. Reporting to a 3-member Board of Selectboard, the Town Administrator oversees administrative staff and supports part-time employees and volunteers to deliver a full array of services to the community. The Town budget, approved through a traditional town meeting format, is approximately $3.5M inclusive of capital improvement funds.
The successful candidate should have a solid understanding of municipal finances and personnel administration to coordinate and oversee finance activities in cooperation with town office staff. A Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration or a related field and a minimum of 5 years municipal management experience is desired; or equivalent combination of experience and education which demonstrates an ability to be successful in the position. Interim Position Town Clerk/Tax Collector for the Town of Dublin
January 1, 2023 to April 1, 2023 (training begins in December)
The Town is seeking an INTERIM Town Clerk/Tax Collector. This three month position will be 35 hours a week with no benefits. The position will be up for election in March 2023. This role includes titling and registration of all vehicles, the issuance of a wide range of licenses and permits, the maintenance of vital records, issuance and collection of all municipal tax bills and an oversight of all elections. Training is available for candidates with strong customer service and organizational skills.

Financial and Benefits Administrator
MacDowell, America's first multidisciplinary residency program for artists, seeks an experienced Financial and Benefits Administrator (FBA) 32-40 hrs/wk in its Peterborough office. As one of three team members working in a high-volume finance office, the FBA is responsible for general ledger maintenance and departmental reporting, payroll administration, and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the organization's accounting controls and procedures. The FBA administers employee benefits enrollments, changes, and compliance in collaboration with an external administrative vendor.
In addition to core accounting competencies, the ideal candidate will be a collegial and effective communicator with strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately handle confidential and time-sensitive information. Requirements include a Bachelors in Accounting and 3+ years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent); proficiency with spreadsheets and Financial Edge (or similar fund software); and experience administering benefits, payroll, and accounts payable. Nonprofit accounting experience and appreciation for the arts are strong pluses.
Compensation: $27-38/hour, depending on experience and final responsibility list; full-time, exempt, based in NH office with some remote flexibility; benefits include health and dental insurance; life and short-term disability insurance; flexible spending accounts (medical & de- pendent care); 403(b) retirement; paid family leave; and paid time off.

Associate’s Degree is preferred with a minimum of 10 years progressive supervisory experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
