W O R C E S T E R Idyllic village life in Hallow... Hallow is an attractive village with an historic past: at one time it was owned by Worcester Cathedral and is recorded in the Domesday Book. Colonel William Careless, who preserved the life of Charles II by hiding him in the Royal Oak in 1651, was resident in Hallow during the 1680s. Today the idyllic village green, numerous listed buildings, a notable church with a 150 foot spire completed in 1879 and the peaceful surrounding countryside provide an excellent backdrop for your new home.
