Dress to impress What’s black and white and red all over? It’s not a newspaper...a sunburnt zebra, which you might see tonight in the costume class. When the creative side of the Pinto World Championship exhibitors comes out there is no telling what you’ll find in the middle of the arena. Last year’s costume class was won by Snow White and her seven dwarfs. In the past, the audience has seen a banana split,
a carousel horse and a Vegas show girl. Exhibitors have already crafted creative costumes which they presented at the dog show on Sunday. Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, the crocodile hunter, a hula girl and the princess and the frog all joined for the dog show costume class. Tonight’s class is sure to be even larger in proportion, and exhibitors can expect some tough competition. There are several PWC exhibitors entered into
the costume class, which the judges will place. The champion will receive a Gist World Champion belt buckle, and reserve will receive a Tioga Territory vest. Come cheer on your favorite costume and see exhibitor’s creativity come to life. The Challenged Riders Leadline class will take place immediately before the Novelty Costume class in the Ford Truck arena at 6 p.m.
