Tired in tulsa

The horses were cleaned, the hooves were shined, the ribbons were awarded and now the buckles are being worn. Exhibitors are starting to wear down as two weeks of showing begins to come to a close. Youth exhibitors, novice walk/trot amateurs, ponies and miniatures are already finished showing. As the stress levels decline and the amount of free time increases, some exhibitors are taking the opportunity to get a little more sleep. However, the show is not yet over. There are still two days left. Tonight will be the Supreme Color Champion and Charity Walk/ Trot in the Ford Truck arena after the last class of the day in arena 1. Be sure to watch both events. Today is the last day of showing for amateur novice and amateur/open breeding stock horses. Their high point awards will be presented this evening. Tomorrow’s open classes and amateur reining classes will mark the end of the show. The amateur junior, senior, elite and English/ western horse high point awards will be presented. In addition, the open stock type horse, hunter type horse, saddle type, pleasure type and utility high points will be awarded. PWC Press • No. 12 • Page 1
