BRACE YOURSELF SEPTEMBER 2012 Academic Study 路 Print My world changed after undergoing surgery to have my ACL repaired from a soccer accident last summer. Instead of wallowing in my unfortunate luck, I created a pocket-sized guide for other University of Florida students facing a similar mobility challenge. Beyond the basic information, I used humorous copy, vibrant colors, and supporting sports psychology research to help the user feel more positive about their recovery process.
