Unleashing potential to GET PAID FASTER. That is one way that the Revenue Cycle team is helping our offi ces to streamline and standardize the collections process.

Revenue cycle management success is the heart of any dental organization. Adopting the latest technology to automate the claims, billing and collection eff orts will help deliver predictable and sustainable collection results over the long term, and will free up valuable time for the offi ces to focus on patient care.

The Revenue Cycle team is partnering with our DVPs, regional managers and offi ce staff to achieve success. We have deployed revenue cycle tools that provide our teams with insight and visibility into areas that drive increased cash fl ow.

As an example, our Denticon offi ces are now leveraging automation to improve the insurance verifi cation process. This drastically reduces offi ce time each day on performing manual verifi cations and increases effi ciency by helping to ensure clean claims are submitted the fi rst time.

Sending claims out electronically (versus a mailed paper statement) expedites the payment cycle by more than 50%, which helps each offi ce get paid faster. With an electronic claims attachment technology, dental practices can transmit x-rays, periodontal charts, explanation of benefi ts, narratives or any other documentation required by a payer to assist with the adjudication of a dental claim. Plus, enrolling insurance companies to return claims with electronic remittance advice (ERAs) and electronic fund transfers (EFTs) accelerates the claims reconciliation process and improves payment processing time, which decreases accounts receivable. This is one of the many services we off er to our offi ces.

DCA is helping our practices optimize their cash fl ow with revenue cycle management enhancements that otherwise would be challenging to achieve on their own.
