Why you should

CHOOSE UWM 1

We’re nationally recognized for our undergraduate research, which means students get to meaningfully contribute to their field from day one.

2

We have some of Wisconsin’s leading programs, like the largest school of nursing and one of the largest schools of education.

3

Our unique schools include Wisconsin’s only architecture school, the state’s only school of public health and the nation’s only school of freshwater sciences.

4 In 2020, Variety magazine ranked UWM’s film program among the top 50 film schools in the world. 5 More than 1,400 businesses host UW-Milwaukee interns each year. But it’s not impressive stats that set us apart. It’s our students. They’re determined problem-solvers who refuse to be one thing. They’re researchers and artists, innovators and caregivers, scientists and communicators. Students choose UWM because they don’t want to settle for just reading the textbooks – they want to write them. Sound like you?
