UWM Was My First Choice
“UWM stuck out to me for two main reasons: It has a really good education program focused on urban education, and its location is in a super diverse city.”
Real-World Experience
“You can never get too much experience when it comes to teaching, and UWM had me in a secondgrade classroom first semester of my freshman year. Getting my foot in the door right away really helped.”
Volunteering
“I like doing good in the world, so I volunteer at a food pantry, and I’ve tutored elementary school kids. Those opportunities came to me through UWM.”
UWM ONLINE
UNDECIDED?
UWM is a longtime leader in online education. In a typical year, we offer more than 850 online courses, and in 2020, U.S. News & World Report ranked UWM in the top 50 Best Online Bachelor’s Programs. The same expert faculty teach our online and in-person classes and can quickly adjust course formats amid changing conditions. Pursue a degree in a way that fits your lifestyle. uwm.edu/online
Choosing a major is a huge decision, but it’s not one you have to make alone. UWM’s Pathway Advising office helps undecided students explore their options with themed pathways called metamajors. Each metamajor has a general academic theme covering multiple majors, so you can try out different majors but still be on track to graduate on time. Check out all six metamajor options online. uwm.edu/undecided
