KITCHEN
Ceiling: Matt white paint Walls: Matt white paint (The idea was to have the space feel bigger,well lit ;white is very reflective.Lastly to demonstrate cleanliness. The suspended light was for a dramatic effect and i love the touch of gold ,it makes the room pop. This room was designed to be functional ,the positioning of everything is to guide the flow of kitchen activities as shown in the next page.) Ceiling: Light grey paint Walls: Dark grey & light grey paint (Dark grey paint is to make the space more intimate and cosy,the touch of green is to give it life complementing the two planters. The furniture is custom design except for the two throne chairs for the house owners to demonstrate power and authority. The table lights from below and its complimented by the beautiful suspended lights for intimate effect. Its a room meant to bring people together. LIVING ROOM
Ceiling: Dark grey paint Walls: Dark grey & white matt paint (Dark grey ceiling was me trying something different,i wanted the room to feel darker and more intimate for a theatrical experience but i had to break it with white paint for contrast and to add horizontal volume since the room is quite small as it is. Most of the furniture is also white to help brighten the room.Its very minimalistic.) Flooring: Light Grey vinly laminate Curtain: Black roller blinds Beige curtain panels
UNDER STAIRCASE
(This space was quite tricky to work on since it was a dead space and if not well designed it would have been an accidental storage space.I therefore designed a builtin suspended bed plartform with a white stone feature below it for aesthetics. It an all purpose space that can be used as a lazy resting space to watch movies on your laptop or read a book,can also be used as a kid's play area or an additional guest bed space. The rest of the space will be used to hang coats,temporalily store the already used shoes.A black platform bench next to it can be used to place other small items like car keys,caps etc. ) Walls: Grey & warm light grey paint Flooring: Dark Grey vinly laminate
BEDROOM 1
Ceiling: Peach paint Walls: Dark grey & peach paint (I wanted this room to be as colourful as possible and i love the contrast of peach feature wall and the mint shear curtains.The rest of the walls and flooring is grey, a silent neutral color.It also has a very mature study area which is in black and white just to tone down the vibrance. Ceiling: Light grey paint Walls: Light grey & caramel brown paint (This bedroom is not as spacious so i was very particular with the colours.Ceiling to walls is light grey just to make feel bigger and the caramel brown feature wall just to give it warmth. The doors of the wardrobes are mirror to also help with visually making the room feel spacious. Its a more toned down room.) Flooring: Grey wall to wall Velvet pile carpet . TERRACE
Ceiling: White painted pergolla to create a shade. Walls: Light grey ,White & Dark grey paint (I created this space to be an extrension of the home office.Its a green space with live planter and creepers along the pergolla to create privacy. The second terrace is a barbeque social space with a spectacular view of the city) Flooring: Green grass carpet.
