GENEROSITY, FAITH, VISION, BEING A KINGDOM BUILDER
BY RICH WILKERSON, SR
Have you ever stopped to think about what a privilege Generosity is? Our ability to be generous is made possible because each of us is truly blessed by Jesus. He blesses us with time we can share with others, talents we can use to help build His Kingdom, and the finances needed to reach out a helping hand. We are blessed because we have a purpose. Each of us is called to reach the lost and help the less fortunate. Proverbs 11:30 tells us “The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life; a wise person wins friends.” Everything we do at Trinity plants the seeds that will help build Jesus’ Kingdom. I am challenging you to be a KINGDOM BUILDER at Trinity Church! Faith is a vital part of Trinity Church. We have faith Jesus will reach out and touch those in need. We have faith He will heal the sick and sooth the broken hearts. We have faith He will give us the talent required to meet each need that walks in our doors. And we have faith that He will provide the finances we need to reach out to the lost, a need that is met by our Kingdom Builders. A KINGDOM BUILDER is someone who trusts the Lord each year to give an additional 1% - 5% of his or her total income above the tithe to the Lord through Trinity Church. Our Kingdom Builders are the key to Trinity’s theme this year—MORE! To do more we need to be a healthy
church and a growing church. We grow through the act of evangelism. We evangelize through our Men’s, Girlfriends, and Vous Conferences, which inspire everyone who attends the conferences to live the life God has created specifically for only them. We evangelize through our Hope Jam community outreach, which brings the Hope and Joy of Jesus to the families in our surrounding community. We also work to bring much needed help to those in need through our Peacemakers Family Center. We work to serve as living examples of Jesus’ compassion and love to everyone who comes to us for assistance. We are able to do all of this because of the generosity—the blessings—Jesus gives our Kingdom Builders! Together, we are working hard to build Jesus’ Kingdom, but we want to do MORE. “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20). Through His mighty power we can accomplish infinitely more. More than we could possibly even imagine! I am truly humbled when I think about how much Trinity Church has grown in the last seventeen years. We’ve gone from a tent on the side of a highway to a multi-campus Church dedicated to reaching the lost in three cities. I look forward to seeing how much more it will grow in the next seventeen years because of Kingdom Builders like YOU! Rich Wilkerson is Senior Pastor of Trinity Church in Miami, FL & co-founder of Peacemakers ministries alongside his wife of 40+ years, Robyn. They have 4 children & 2 grandchildren.

MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT
WE ARE ONE
A New Movement of Young People with Rameses “Cheno” Echevarria
I’m excited and committed to this new season of VOUS YOUTH! We’ve worked really hard to create a relevant Middle & High School ministry that has a fun atmosphere where students can fall in love with Jesus and connect to the church. We want them to seek His presence in worship, gain fundamental biblical knowledge they can take home, and serve their church and parents. The VOUS YOUTH team and I are committed to coming alongside parents and assisting them any way we can to see their students achieve their God-given potential. The weekly services consist of high-energy games, powerful worship, life-changing messages and real-life connections. Our weekly services give us a chance to have real consistent connections with students, and partner up with parents in student development. VOUS YOUTH has many components that work outside of the weekly service as such as our sports outreaches, connect groups, educational development program and First Priority campus clubs! Last year, in partnership with First Priority, we saw over 5200 salvations in local Middle and High Schools all over South Florida. This year Vous Youth will be in several Middle and High Schools on a weekly basis preaching Jesus – including: North Miami, North Miami Beach, ATM, American, Norland, Michael Krop, Aventura Waterways, and we’re adding more soon! From helping students search for the right college & finding applicable scholarships to building healthy relationships, Vous Youth is committed to the development of our students! If you have never visited us, check us out EVERY Sunday at 11:30am for (JV - Junior Vous) Middle School students and 1:30pm for (Vous Youth) High School students! We are also excited about our upcoming Meet the Parents happening September 20th at 1:30pm at our Trinity Church Miami Gardens Campus. This will be a fully catered lunch for parents giving them the opportunity to see every element of VOUS YOUTH for themselves; to participate in a live service and to connect with the leadership of VOUS YOUTH! Every parent is welcome and it is completely FREE! More information will be sent home with students in the coming weeks. WE ARE ONE is the heartbeat of VOUS YOUTH... We exist to love God and love people. Come check us out! Having a Heart for the House 6
I am continuously amazed by the God-given blessings we have in our lives! The Trinity family works together to support each other, spreads the message of God to others, and builds an amazing Legacy that will impact generations to come. What a shining example this selflessness is to others! We are showing what God’s children are truly capable of. We are leaving a solid foundation for future generations to build on! The Legacy we are creating together is passed on to every person who walks through our doors. We are changing the world, one person at a time! I know you’ve heard about Heart for the House from Pastor Rich, but I want to tell you a little more about why our Heart for the House offering is so important. As a community, we take time each year to focus on our “HEART FOR THE HOUSE.” We use our HEART to embrace the revelation that God uses the local church to transform the world, and develop our PASSION to build it. We believe with our WHOLE HEART that
church, our community, and everyone we come in contact with. In obedience to God’s Word, we bring our best offering to the Lord’s House. This action is a spiritual recommitment for each of us as we act on God’s goodness and accept His will in our lives, our community, and our family! The Legacy we are building together is a Legacy of God’s greatness, dedicated to sharing God’s love. This Legacy enriches lives, fulfills hopes and dreams, makes a vital con-

the local church - our church - is the HOPE of the world. We provide a place of healing and refuge, a place where lives are transformed and communities are changed. On September 27th we are going to bring our very best to God’s house. This special Heart for the House offering is a STEP OF FAITH. We want our spiritual growth to spread and grow! We want that growth to bless our
tribution to society, passes down stories of God’s greatness, realizes His amazing mercy and provision, and brings about a better future for every person who walks through our doors. You are a vital part of that! I am asking our church family to have a HEART FOR THE HOUSE. Together we can sacrifice our finances, our time and prayers to build a church that will continue reaching people and generations to come. We must all work together, acting in FAITH. “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see” (Hebrews 11:1).
REMEMBER — God will provide for you! He will take care of you, your loved ones, and His Church — Trinity Church! God requires faith ... and faith is evident through action! Step out — Trust God — Believe Him — with me! I believe for big things in your life, in the life of our Trinity FAMILY... and our church’s future holds amazing surprises. Robyn Wilkerson is a Senior Pastor of Trinity Church in Miami, FL & co-founder of Peacemakers ministries, along with her husband of 40+ years.

ONE OF THE GREATEST CHALLENGES OF ANY CHURCH IS “CLOSING THE BACK DOOR.”
This has been a long-standing phenomena that church leadership and servant leader teams have been trying to conquer since the birth of the early church in the book of Acts. Closing the back door is all about getting people who come to church to stay engaged and grow as a follower of Jesus. Churches strive to have a front door open so wide that all people feel welcomed, invited, and drawn to seek out community and a deeper relationship with Christ. But the question is how do we provide a spiritual formation process that keeps people engaged in their journey with Christ and committed to one another through fellowship and accountability. In short, how do we close the back door? At Trinity Church our answer is this: COMMUNITY. Building community is so much more than gathering for an hour on a Sunday. Community is the essence of our church that propels people into their purpose and calling as Christ followers. Community is what stirs the gift of faith, builds up the believer in their gifts, and champions them to not give up. It is in community that we find life-long friendships, future spouses, and support to face life’s challenges. Let us be a church that strives for community in every season of our lives so that we can see the people of Trinity Church thrive in their walk with God. We are excited to launch the beginning of our Fall Connect Groups. It is through our Connect Groups that we will begin to see the back door of our church shut. It is our goal to provide opportunities for men and women of all ages to CONNECT with one another as they grow together in their walk with Christ. At Trinity Church, people are our heart, which is why we value the discipleship process. Join us as we journey together and get connected today! Connect Groups will be launching mid-September. Sign up in the lobby or at the VIP tables. If you are interested in becoming a Connect Group Leader or would like to join a Connect Group please contact Pastor Hollie Jo Hepler (hhepler@trinitychurch.tv).

of our lives that inspire greatness, resiliency, and a desire
to thrive. As parents and caregivers, you want to encourage and affirm your children to reach their fullest God-given potential, and your Trinity Church family wants to partner with you in those efforts! We want to foster meaningful life-changing moments in your child’s life every time we join together. This September we’re hosting our first ever Kidzone Conference: Unstoppable. It will be an innovative, exciting, fun, and empowering weekend for your child where they’ll be engaged and entertained, but will most of all experience the true power of Jesus Christ. Join us for this action packed weekend, as your child’s potential is unlocked. We want to help equip your child with the knowledge and confidence that Jesus Christ is real, even at this young age, so that they may grow into the man or woman of God that they are called to be. This conference is an amazing opportunity for you and your family. One day your child may reflect back on UNSTOBBALBE and say, “That was it – the decisive moment; that was when I knew I was unstoppable.” Hannah Boyd first joined Trinity as an MLI Summer Intern, now working with Peacemakers Family Center. She has a heart for helping people and will soon complete her degree in Human Services from Southeastern University.
